After missing church last week due to my immobility, I was finally able to make my way within the church sanctuary and into my beloved Esther's arms. Church was great, with a great challenge for mission work. But what comes next was even more exciting for me and it's something I've been looking forward to for quite some time; I'm going home to a place where I feel belonged - Asahan, to see grandma.

We brought the camcorder along too and showed ah ma our Cambodia trip videos. She was happy for us. Not long after, we had to rush back to Malacca as the CF committee was to meet up at EP at 5pm. From there we convoyed down to the ikan bakar, slightly further down from Ujong Pasir.

Pastor took us here as a thanks for all our hard work for the whole trimester. For all the trials we faced, the sacrifices we made, and all the sweat and blood we poured out together; we truly did it all for the Glory of God.

now for another new trimester.. a new era~

This coming Wednesday we shall hand-over our work to the next batch of committee whom shall rise to the challenge and answer the call of servitude. hehe~ Should be interesting to watch and observe, don'tcha think so?

In the first semester, we had an awesome session of bacon & cheese. It was simple but yet it inspired my beloved CG members to come from time to time again in hopes of receiving the oily juicy nectar of pork oil.

Thus, it was promised by me that for Catalyst CG's last meeting, a barbecue and bacon and cheese was in order and that it shall be held in my place; the land where animals are freely captive in their respective cages/aquariums/ponds.

On the 1st of May, ZX, J.Sen, K.Lee, Turais, Ana-chan, H.Lee, H.Yin, Yokebird, K.Lyn and DD made their way to my humble abode to mash some potatoes and grill some awesomely delicious lamb chops and ok-ok chicken.

Later on, dad came home and made us the total-win garlic parsley potato that's waaaaaay better than any Kenny Rogers Roasters could ever- EVER serve. Not only that, dad made us some refreshing Starbuck's Passion/Lemonade Tea and he even bought us some ice creams for dessert. Shooo nish~

It's been one year since I was assign to take care of this CG and one year has been a time too short. Thanks for enduring my nonsense and I do pray that all of you have truly grown in the Lord throughout this trimester.

Last Thursday's CG, Catalyst's final bible study, only two were present, J.Sen and myself. The rest were busy with extra class and due assignments while ZX and Yokebat had massive diarrhea (pronounced: die-o-rly). Thus, being a good CG leader, I figure that I might as well give the two of us a break and join up with Es-ther-dear's CG. She'll entertain us lead the bible study too.

Over her side was only 4 for them, including herself and that makes 6 of us all together (my math still RAWKS!! >.<). Thus we headed down to Un John's Kopitiam in hopes to get some discounts since we're good friends with the owner.

We did the bible study first before ordering our dinner. Rebecca did a good job leading the bible study; can see that she got it from her dad. heh~

Thursday. Second last outing for the Catalyst CG. 3 CGs joined for dinner with the total number reaching 23 heads; the largest combined CG by far. Dinner at super-cheap-with-big-portion place near Bandar Hilir; RM3 for a big portion of Chinese-fried style food, RM1.20 for fruit juice!

Next up was the main event.

| 2000 HOW - 2008 Heart of Worship

Last Thursday, the Catalyst CG celebrated our very own, 24 year old, lover of all things cute and furry, fetal-positioned, mike-munching, bon jovi singing, giant with a heart of gold; Ng Zhen Xin's Burfday!

We had a short bible study about Easter and the passover. It was so short that it was, in fact, our shortest bible study EVER with a record time of SHORT. Yea~

Then we headed to US Pizza, the worst but most convenient place to celebrate burfdays and other stuffs like this in Bukit Beruang. Order a set meal for 8 which luckily is the same number of people we had; J.Sen, K.Lee, A.Chan, K.Lyn, ZX, Jo, and myself.. Mike eats the portion of 3 people so yea, just nice.

We ate two mediocre pizzas that's definitely not worth the price but we paid anyway because we're voters and we have rights Christians. It was a pretty lively experience and stuff. Somehow or rather our burfday surprise for ZX didn't really work out. Wonder why... hmmm~

K.Lyn brought S.Dee's PSP along and everyone was so amazed and intrigued by the wonders of such a small but yet entertaining devices. One game that all of us played and was kept amused for a good period of time looked like a game for retards and we enjoyed playing it too. Everyone was laughing away happily like *imagine* ZX in fetal-position, petting a teddy bear smiling away *imagine* that. Fun. Scary, but fun.

I'm still not fully recovered from the flu and sore throat. The tongue ulcer is still there but it's getting better. Thankfully, there were good worshipers during practice and the practice went very much better than I honestly expected.

The day started of rather slow-paced. Rolling clouds and cold breeze greeted the students in campus. The large mist over the Bear Hill demanded the attention of people passing by to admire its beauty and say things like, "Lol~ Looks like Genting man~"

Later in the evening, As-The-Dear's CG, JT's CG and *koff* me CG went to makan Some Good Food® at Burnt Fish, not at the usual Umbai but this time, at Alai. Not so big difference in name but an slight distinct difference in taste. Our CG reached the earliest despite leaving the latest (20 mins later), and the funny part was that somehow, we went to a different burnt fish than the other 2 CGs.

The first CG of the semester and for me personally was quite a blurr through it all. Sent out usual sms's earlier in the morning. Met up at 7pm and chatted with the early CF'ers. Took a moment to be quiet for awhile and realize just how loud we are and how there were certain people sitting alone with no one talking to them.

Catalyst CG had a lot of people though technically in paper its still less than half of what it should be. In total we had nine (bold for the extra emphasis) peeps that night. ZX's back from his attachment (miss him!!), Hui Yin came and she brought Yokebet along too and finally, the new intake dude from Kuantan, Dr. Phil. They're all a ton of fun to hang out with.

The girls were almost literally begging to go to Baskin Robbins since it's the 31st and they have their annual 31% discount. So, after a nice cheap meal in Lao Lao Sang, we grabbed some Some Good Food® or as in this case, some good ice-cream. Read; I soooooo lurveee coookies and creaaaaamm~ My one and only favourite ice-cream! Hope ya'll had fun~

With practice still underway, rough edges, plot-holes, and script being fine-tuned, aCt is pretty much going on well. XD!! Directors are getting more and more nervous by the day but, it was encouraging to see the people do better with live music from the Band. XD

Since we had such a HUGE crowd, we HAD to split the TABLE and thus SIX people ate BEEF while the remaining for FOUR ate PORK. SIX plus FOUR equals TEN!! I must say though despite eating at Loi's Bak Kut Teh for as-long-as-I-can-remember, I didn't know they had pork too. Every time my family came here to grab Some Good Food®, we would eat beef. I gotta admit, their beef bak kut teh is way nicer than their pork. Huiyin! Ya dunno what ur missing gal! XD

Wednesday was a super hectic busy day that included a bald, fur-less Golden Retriever that sleeps in a very inappropriate manner. My mom says so too. Nonetheless, Gloria is still Gloria and she's still as cute and adorable as evahhh~ A nice cup of originality four espresso shots, six pumps of vanilla, hot latte does the trick pretty well indeed.

Comes Thursday, the day of great joy; the day of CG. Though Ana-chan's burfday was yesterday, I just couldn't idly sit by and let such a thing be not celebrated. Thus, we had our bible study at US Pizza. lasagne al forno's real good by the way.

After the bible study and food eating was over, out came the cake - a simple, beautiful Vanilla Pudding Cake Thingy, with the name Ana-chan enclosed with kawaii hearts (courtesy of K.Lyn) written on it. Good ol' tradition of taking out candles with mouth as in order. Along with a good deal of talking and cake munching.

Unfortunately, as if it was a strange twist of destiny entwined with the ebb and flow of a typical Catalyst CG meeting, we couldn't finish the whole cake. All that's left was slightly less than a quarter of the cake. Naturally cake smashing came.. naturally.

So we headed to Ana-chan's crib to execute make sure she arrives safely. Ana-chan's spider-sense went on overdrive and before we could even start the sentence, she quickly grab the cream and started flinging it around wildly like one of those women from Chicago's Cell Block Tango, screaming at us for no apparent reason.

well.. she had it coming.. heh~

Well, I guess normally I'd put this on top of the post but.. it seems more suitable here. hehe~ So..
