In the previous years I would normally recap the events that took place last year. But I guess this year will be a little different with exams and all. Maybe exams are just an excuse but.. I guess we'll just never know.

Perhaps I might just find time to blog about last year and all of its ups and downs etc etc etc. In fact, I was just preparing the pictures to be posted and found that the beginning of last year I had like, loads of pics to post till somewhere around the 3rd quarter of the year. From there it kinda slowed down.

Sigh~ The end of YAC. That was the signaling of the new year. I guess for the younger ones, it's like a new beginning for them but for me and some of my peers, it's more of a sad goodbye.

Been going a few times in the last week. Something that I don't normally do because:
1) I'm not metrosexually align to the 8 planets and their moo- bah~!
     Pluto is still a planet to me!!
2) I don't have alotta cash. Ergo. No spendie spendie.
3) Being born and raised (probably will die here too), there ain't
     much excitement in the 'mall'.

But nonetheless, I went there again and upon miss Ai Ai's insightful wisdom, she suggested me tried the Korean Restaurant, ZingDo.

ZingDo was okay only larr. Not really worth the money if ya ask me. I'd rather do BBQ Plaza at Klang with Wayne. After many many long days of planning, drafting, writing, designing, composing, practices, drilling, practices, props, practices, traveling, practices and back-breaking, the real night came and boy was it fun.

men shan't live on bread alone..

We persevered through many long, tough, sleepless nights all with the sole purpose of giving glory to God; the purpose of the existence of the coined TGBTG - To God Be The Glory.

As the night passed by as quickly as it came we, the directors can't help but wonder if we accomplished what we set out to hit. Whether the message was clear and if it'd penetrated the hearts of the crowd - if lives were touched and hearts broken.

Thank you for giving God your best. Thank you for bearing with me all these times. It's my sincerest prayer and hope that all of you gain something from this musical and not see it as just 'an event' but rather remembering our existence as servants, as parts of the body that is this musical. I pray that all of you would as I, only use your gifts to give glory to Him who gave us these talents in the first place. I love you all, I truly do.

As the night drew darker and the flashes of the cameras fades, the casts and crew left the hall to celebrate, a small group of people remained because for us the work ain't over yet.

It's been another crazy past few weeks with what little rest days taken up by everything but anything of what I really need. Been living on an unbelievably tight schedule with assignments and mid-terms biting my arse. Not to mention doing the work of a director, making fair, right and wise decisions, paying bills that aren't my own, and of course, dealing with people.

Nonetheless, it's been fun.

another Christmas thingy: The Given Gift (aCt:TGG) is just 7 exciting days away. To miss it would be a great loss indeed to one's self. Sure, we sell DVDs of it for an insanely cheap price, but nothing beats watching it live so do make an effort to come.

Fortunately, the past few weeks I've been stuffing myself with Some Good Food®. Most of which would some how or rather have something to do with the ever so lovable pork. Been eating pork almost every single day so much so I can almost literally feel my cholesterol level sky-rocketing. But hey, for the sake of attaining that Some Good Food® what's a few years of life being taken away anyway? heh~

On Monday we officially launch the second aCt production, Another Christmas Thingy: The Given Gift. The head director of the entire event, Ms Grace Teo Ai Ai Ai Ai walked the CF'ers through the entire production, from the department directors, scriptwriters, main casts and the core storyline. She also announced the dates of the infamous Intensive Week (03/11-08/11). Remember kids; no chili and nouuuuu ice~

Today, is the last CF of the semester and the first CF we ever officially have in our campus! This marks history babeh!! It was surely a different environment and the atmosphere was slightly unusual but nevertheless exciting. Almost everyone was cheerful about it too. Elys lead us through a good worship with only two acoustic guitar backing the music up but personally, I feel that it is sufficient. Would be nice to have a kah-hon though. The bible quiz, handled by Merilyn, Jerome and myself went pretty well. We had excess of questions and most of the fun ones weren't taken but.. owh well~

So with history marked, let us all as CF be united in following God and seeking His will for our CF and our campus. If God be willing to allow us to keep YAC, it be cool. If He doesn't.. well, He gives and takes away, but still my heart will choose to say, "Lord, blessed be Your name~"

These days are just getting busier and busier. Things stack up on one another and it ain't just affecting me, I bet others are feeling the pinch of this semester. Among other things that are buzzing on my head, I think the one that stands out the most now is the aCt2 script. Yeap, we're doing it again and hopefully it'll rock like always.

Many of you may not know this, but the directors and script writers of aCt2 (another Christmas thingy) have been cracking our butts and heads to plan this year's Christmas.. thingy. And as many of you know, this semester is just so blardy packed with midterms, assignments and exams, you beloved directors are working hard to get this right. After all, God deserves nothing less and everything much more.
