my new favourite pic

1 month+ of training complete and another 3 more to go. I guess doing my training here again this time around is much more pleasant compared to my last training in my diploma years. This time around I have more real work that's relevant to my studies.

overview of melaka baru

To say everything is okay, however, would be a lie... cause every thing's great. Other than some annoyance that I have to literally bear with; things like the thermometer on the aircond is set to the lowest and is pointed directly overhead of my colleagues, effectively blowing it straight on top of me which then makes me unbelievably cold. Now, ya see folks, I can stand cold; my ego is big enough for it, but seriously, this is ridiculous. Thankfully, I have my trusty thermos-bottle thingy to keep me warm~

doesn't matter what i put in it;
everything taste better in a starbucks

Not only that, I have this colleague of mine from UTEM who's also doing her industrial training here and as always, to protect the identity of those who appear on my blog, her name shall be withheld.

Nurul Fadzilah Abdullah, 22

So where was I.. Oh yea, I have a this colleague from UTEM and thanks to her antics, I get a good dosage of laughter. She majors in Database Management, IT, so it wouldn't be wrong to assume she is computer-literate right? To a certain point yes.

Ya see, the other day she wanted to call up Genting First World's booking line and the number had a (+65) in front of it. Therefore not knowing where (+65) is I suggested googling it up to her.

She did.

In fact, she literally googled the number '65' and was severely disappointed with the results for it showed everything but the location of the country code.

I lol'ed- hard~

Owh btw~

tuggy has a new homeee~

The other day, one of my sisters, Rebekah (Tan) was down in Melaka, freshly graduating from her Diploma in Hospitality at Taylor's College. So she picked up another one of my sister, Sandra and we had dinner at Wok & Pan.

I had medium rare steak.

And no, it didn't (and could never) match up with the Super Legendary Epic Good Food® (SLEGF®) steak from Baguio.

rebekah tan, 16 (not available till i see otherwise)

So yea, back to my sisters. After dinner we went across the street to Nadaje which in the Ancient Tongue of French roughly translates to;

'the one with the expensive cake who will not let you use their table unless you order a drink (no skyjuices) of which all costs a minimum of RM3 kthxbai'

Why yes, I was making that up. What gave it away I wonder? heh~

rebekah tan, 20 (STILL not available till i say otherwise)

In anycase, the cakes were really good but overly expensive. Unfortunately, RM8 for a puny slice of good cake doesn't out-weight their *shiety service. Fortunately, no price is too high to pay to spend some quality time with my sisters of whom I hardly get to meet these days.

| ...anties

Right after I posted the previous post, I crashed into bed, woke up for some early morning dim-sum breakfast and headed off to Genting Highlands for a very very rare Liu's Family Holiday and thus, despite how tired I was, it should not be missed.

The weather on the way up to Genting Highland was on bad side; thick, cloudy, semi-puking state. First World was packed to the brim due to the peak-season and the fact that it's raining out there.

greaaaat view eh?

Gave my family a near-thorough tour of what Genting has to offer. After all, it seems as if I've been coming to this place often for the past 4 years and each time I come, it brings along different people and I return with different experience and memories. This time however, is the first time with my beloved family.

how far we've come

On the way down from Genting, just when we reached the foothill, a car overtook us and flagged at our tyre. We pulled over at a rest area and wa~lah, we have a flat bottom-left tyre. Being pretty calm about it, we had our lunch and tried to fix on our spare tyre. We managed to loosen 2 of the 4 bolts and we were stuck when one of the bolts were worn off. Fortunately, Ronda came to save the day and they had a fancy long pipe the used as leverage to force open the stubborn bolt and before we know it, we were on our way home.

my parents may be old but they sure look young

BRING ON TEH SUGGAHHH!!

stop touching my hieny.. heh~

The holiday didn't really ended yet. That night we had dinner at Calanthe', cendol with unlimited malacca sugar for dessert and a nice chill at Geographer Cafe. To my surprise, my dad knows the artist who plays at Geographer every night aka Mr Burns. It seems they were childhood friends. To increase the festivities, that day was Mr Burns' birthday and for once, we sang for him instead of him for us.

Happy Burfday dude~

The following day started rather slowly. Went out with dad and mom to have lunch and to do some shopping - nothing much to shout about. But I gotta say, dinner was simply awesome. My mom may be good with Chinese cuisines but dad's definitely great with them westerns and on the menu; Lamb chops and garlic bread.

droool people! droooooool~

i like garlic because it makes my heart stronger.. *smile*

Well, I guess the holiday with my family ends here. Now for a little solace. Nice rain..

Good nite peeps~

p.s. going to genting again reminds me of you

| home

It's been far too long. There's much that I've kept walled-up in my heart, in my soul.

I went home. It was refreshing though the time spent there was short.

So I'm gonna bother flooding this post with words.

Instead.. I'm gonna flood it with pictures!! hahahhha~

| passionate people persons

Mark My Best Friend (join the club now)

In the past one month, I've been interacting more with people than ever before.. Yay!! In fact, ever since I applied membership to the two most super-exclusive cult club, Deric My Best Friend and Mark My Best Friend, life has been ever exciting! Apa kata Mawi? World!

granddaughter - she'll take care of me till im senile!!

My granddaughter, [girl in pic], has been very supportive to me. Me lurva her alottah. Very useful and kind, unlike the ones out there in the market. Belongs in kitchen with apron. Makes good coffee and knows how to serve with respect. Doesn't accept cash. First time she belanja me was a couple of days back. Retails for USD$39.95 - Get yours now!

[out of stock]

Just kidding about me granddaughter. She retails for USD$14.50 is not for sale - sorry. Me feels a painful pinch coming soon. hahaha~ Okay, I'm talking nuts here. Ignore for three.. two.. one.. ignore complete. Me like deb a lot. Won't sell her for any price.. *ahem*

me lurvah mah CG!!

Despite the usual low attendance, last week, Catalyst CG reached a record-breaking attendance of 8 people! EIGHT! You know, DVD8! Whoohooo~ Guest star appearance includes the lovely Hui Yin and the cute Shin Dee. Our priority is to celebrate Kay Lyn's belated birthday, so we got a slice of Choc Cheese cake from Secret R, and had dinner in Kenny Rogers - first time I've EVER paid for a meal in Kenny Rogers. gosh~ Went to play some pool later. It fun night.

singing in the raiiiin~

Friday rains hinder me from going out in the afternoon. Missed my morning class too due to a medical condition called Sleeperus Calltous - deadly I tell ya, deadly. It's another one of those blessing-in-disguise I guess. Got to spend a good time with Gloria. She's growing fast, though I wish the conditions for her upbringing would be in a better location, no malays, big fields, etc.

super sepet unlimitology - gotta catch'em all

Practice was.. well, it could've been much better. I guess it serves to show two important points. One, we should stick to what we do best and improve in it. Two, if all the greatest musicians (guitarist, bassist, drummer, pianist, etc) would get together and just play, their music would not be great - sensitivity, simplicity, understanding give-and-take are much more important than raw skills. We're not a rock band, we're a Worship Team. Know the difference.

new building's(?) arrangements.. okay...

char siew faaaaaaaan~ yatta!

Been very busy of late too. Hardly had time to come home at night. Parents are a understanding bunch - me lurvah them alottah. Dad has been especially supportive of the idea of me getting a new guitar. He knows me been buying my own gear and he's gonna sponsor me cash to buy my future(?) new wife!! YATTAAA~

you know ur dad's cool when he wears better clothes than you

Thinking of how to work out The Pledge (coming to you this Tuesday). Together with Jou Chean, in her room, doing stuff.. *koff* and more importantly, working on the theme song to make it sound better. Done with the recording and hopefully, it's the final cut. The ideas sounds cool. Hopefully it'll materialize into something cooler. Get ready for this Christmas; a Christmas thingie: the invisible cloak. God's wings and His hands holds all - His covering is perfect.

ana-channnnnnnnnnnnn!! me wanna keep her~

hmmmmm.... 0.o!

Shin Dee is a very special girl. No, not the ones that you find in mental institutions nor the one I see in the mirror everyday. She's my niece you see. How did that connection happened? I'm not entirely sure, but all I know is that she calls me uncle, which, in at certain point is not good. *sigh* Sandra calls me uncle too.

shin dee - animal lurvahhh~

This girl here, gave me a White Birthday. Wikipedia has nothing on it because it's something she made up herself. World! What's more special about her, is that she gave me something I've never had before. Despite me being me, extrovert, loud, unassumingly annoying, occasionally funny, having many(subjective) friends, I've never really celebrated a birthday before, well, not like what she did for me. So yea, that makes her special.

thanks Shin Dee - ur spesel!

Thanks to all those who came and were involve in it too. Rest assured i'll get all of you soon, I had fun. Thanks Shin D, Kay L, Ana-C, Becca L, Sully V, Eli Beng, and Jingles. You are all a great blessing to me.

Nites peeps~
