| sim pork curry wan tan sour cream dip

So yea. Shame on the pirates who put up The Sims 3 by EA Black Box two freaking weeks before the scheduled release. It is my duty to therefore, track down the source of the crack and to do that, I needed to get my hands dirty...

pre-celebration retribulation

So most of the people my batch are graduating soon, leaving me all alone. Being unable to extend any emotional response outwardly to the world around me due to upbringing and psychological conditioning is tough for me.. real tough because deep down inside, I'm feeling all sad and blue - and that is hard for people to fathom. Don't blame them though cause candy mountain does exist.

Things you JUST MUST EAT before leaving Melaka.

The other day while studying, Ess-Oh and I had the urge for some nachos in sour cream dip. Coincidentally, dad wanted to go Giant and thus, we tagged along and got ourselves sour cream and cachos (the cheaper equivalent of nachos).

Got home, dug up some suitable recipe from the wet world wide web. Changed the recipe to suit Malaysian taste and our effort-to-worth ratio. So our sour cream dip is made of;
1. sour cream
2. olive oil
3. garlic
4. cheddar cheese (lots of it)
5. salt and pepper
6. parsley

Stir hard and long (naish~). Microwave on High for 30 seconds. Stir harder and longer (veli naish~). Put in the fridge till it cools down and settles. Take it out and stir. Serve with your cachos for Some Good Food®

nothing like cachos and sour cream for awesome win

charlie the unicorn should try this

Well. Tomorrow (or more precisely, today) I'll be sitting for my last paper for the semester then I'm off to meet my Academic Advisor who's also my Final Year Project lecturer to kick-off my project.

Timmy: But why so early?
Me: Well Timmy, because it's hard.
Timmy: Hard?
Me: Yea, hard as in......... heh~
Timmy: Difficult?
Me: YES! Difficult. You lil' smart rug-rat.
       Difficult and two semesters long.
Timmy: Why is it long and hard?
Me: ...... because.. my topic.. is..
Face Recognition for Smart Kiosk

Me: And I have to built the face recognition engine for identification purposes which is helluva lot harder than verification purposes. sigh~

Wish me luck folks. Nitez and outz~

| 'twas another Christmas thingy

publicity - public + city = brilliant

After many many long days of planning, drafting, writing, designing, composing, practices, drilling, practices, props, practices, traveling, practices and back-breaking, the real night came and boy was it fun.

men shan't live on bread alone..

We persevered through many long, tough, sleepless nights all with the sole purpose of giving glory to God; the purpose of the existence of the coined TGBTG - To God Be The Glory.

thanks teddy for those comforting words...

As the night passed by as quickly as it came we, the directors can't help but wonder if we accomplished what we set out to hit. Whether the message was clear and if it'd penetrated the hearts of the crowd - if lives were touched and hearts broken.

and they moved..

..with much love

To my fellow musicians,
Thank you for giving God your best. Thank you for bearing with me all these times. It's my sincerest prayer and hope that all of you gain something from this musical and not see it as just 'an event' but rather remembering our existence as servants, as parts of the body that is this musical. I pray that all of you would as I, only use your gifts to give glory to Him who gave us these talents in the first place. I love you all, I truly do.

God bless

As the night drew darker and the flashes of the cameras fades, the casts and crew left the hall to celebrate, a small group of people remained because for us the work ain't over yet.

suspension killer

We packed all we could into our humble vehicles and transported them safely to YAC. But since it's worth packing, it's worth over-packing - much like a Top Gear challenge. heh~ Joash, you rock.

the box survived... so did the Christmas tree

All of you did a great job and I believe that God is pleased with all of you who serve Him faithfully.

Thank you for all your sacrifices. Nite peeps~

| men wont pay 23 bucks for char siew

Leave two guys to make dinner for themselves and the result would normally have something that goes along 'unhealthy' and 'helluvah tasty' whose origin normally comes from some dark corner of the freezer or fridge. I can vouch for that.

burn the bacon baby!! BURN THE BACCONNN!!!

was in freezer for a few months... i think

might not look like much.. but it's good

On other news; the prestigious title for Best Char Siew Fan that was previously held by Ho-G who serve Some Good Food® was toppled by the 1st runner up, the Melaka Baru Char Siew Fan Peeps after Ho-G made me pay RM23, yes, twenty-three precious bucks for Char Siew, Sau Row, 6 Water-dogs and Mei Chai for two people, which blew my mind away and effectively dethroned them from Best Char Siew Fan, so congrats, Melaka Baru Char Siew Fan Peeps!!

its still like soooOOOoooOOoo good~

On more recent news, MMUcf-born band, PG165 launched their official website and their first EP, on the 5th July 2008. Their CDs are selling like hotcakes for RM12 OMG OMG OMG I GOT THEIR AUTOGRAPGHS!! so grab them before they're out of stock. For more info, visit www.pg165.com.

| pork, meet cheese- cheese meet..

Everyone's been busy studying throughout this exam week and since I haven't updated in awhile, I decided to throw in a few lines of good ol' wontdieone goodness - a goodness for all age and sizes.

Recently, my diet seems to consist of the ever-crucial element known to mankind as pork be it grilled, roasted, stirred fry with saute'd garlic or the epitome of greatness: cheese.

*cue heavenly music*

Dad bought bacon from the supermart and decided to make for myself a variation of the Catalyst CG's last makan at my place bacon and cheese. Rawr~

white gold

melt'em cheese!! melt'em cheese!!!

Seeing how any nutritionist would flip and get the judge to sentence me to life in prison for eating just purely bacon and cheese, I cracked an egg and fry it with the bacon oil. It be goooood. Burnt the bread with the remaining oil and spread some more butter over it. Thinking of it just makes me... hawt~

delish'!!

That night itself, bro got home from work with SSSS around 7.20pm to pick me up for dinner. We headed to Ho G and had... yeap, you guessed it!

The 2008 Best Char Siew Fan Award Winner

Taking a good look of my diet today, I can say with confidence that I've minus off a few hours of my life already.. but man, ain't it all worth it? heh~

*love ya, dad!*

Back to books! Outz~

| non-confession of non-addiction

There's this particular shop that only opens during dinner time that is located along the road going towards my house from anywhere except Malim and Cheng. Yea~

surprise new contender beats old dudes

I've eaten here many times in the past but never seemed to consider its char siew to be an A grade porky-goodness. Previously in my personal title for Best Char Siew Fan goes to Melaka Baru and the runner-up for the seat would definitely be the one in town that opens near mid-night. 2nd runner-up would go to Bear Hills and so on.

new contender for the seat!

Guess the complacent runner-up thought that its position is secured and built itself a stronghold to keep enemies out only to realize too late that it has trapped itself within its own walls.

Two words.
Deep metaphor.

Now I definitely have to say that this Ho-G restaurant thingy deserves a seal of Some Good Food® and though is currently seating on the runner-up seat, if it continue to put on that awesome food service and taste, I won't be surprise if it beats the Melaka Baru char siew fan who currently holds the throne. But for now I'm still going for the best and the winner of Best Char Siew Fan place.

double portion of fatty char siew

Char siew fan for dinner, two nights in a row.
