On other news; the prestigious title for Best Char Siew Fan that was previously held by Ho-G who serve Some Good Food® was toppled by the 1st runner up, the Melaka Baru Char Siew Fan Peeps after Ho-G made me pay RM23, yes, twenty-three precious bucks for Char Siew, Sau Row, 6 Water-dogs and Mei Chai for two people, which blew my mind away and effectively dethroned them from Best Char Siew Fan, so congrats, Melaka Baru Char Siew Fan Peeps!!

| pork, meet cheese- cheese meet..

Everyone's been busy studying throughout this exam week and since I haven't updated in awhile, I decided to throw in a few lines of good ol' wontdieone goodness - a goodness for all age and sizes.

Recently, my diet seems to consist of the ever-crucial element known to mankind as pork be it grilled, roasted, stirred fry with saute'd garlic or the epitome of greatness: cheese.

*cue heavenly music*

Dad bought bacon from the supermart and decided to make for myself a variation of the Catalyst CG's last makan at my place bacon and cheese. Rawr~

Seeing how any nutritionist would flip and get the judge to sentence me to life in prison for eating just purely bacon and cheese, I cracked an egg and fry it with the bacon oil. It be goooood. Burnt the bread with the remaining oil and spread some more butter over it. Thinking of it just makes me... hawt~

That night itself, bro got home from work with SSSS around 7.20pm to pick me up for dinner. We headed to Ho G and had... yeap, you guessed it!

In the first semester, we had an awesome session of bacon & cheese. It was simple but yet it inspired my beloved CG members to come from time to time again in hopes of receiving the oily juicy nectar of pork oil.

Thus, it was promised by me that for Catalyst CG's last meeting, a barbecue and bacon and cheese was in order and that it shall be held in my place; the land where animals are freely captive in their respective cages/aquariums/ponds.

On the 1st of May, ZX, J.Sen, K.Lee, Turais, Ana-chan, H.Lee, H.Yin, Yokebird, K.Lyn and DD made their way to my humble abode to mash some potatoes and grill some awesomely delicious lamb chops and ok-ok chicken.

Later on, dad came home and made us the total-win garlic parsley potato that's waaaaaay better than any Kenny Rogers Roasters could ever- EVER serve. Not only that, dad made us some refreshing Starbuck's Passion/Lemonade Tea and he even bought us some ice creams for dessert. Shooo nish~

It's been one year since I was assign to take care of this CG and one year has been a time too short. Thanks for enduring my nonsense and I do pray that all of you have truly grown in the Lord throughout this trimester.

The combine English/Chinese service was great as City Community Church had its first service in the new building. People were comfortably fitting into the new environment as if it were their second home. The after-service Nasi Lemak helped to fill-up our stomachs as we marched hungrily upstairs, drawn by the smell of food.

Took up four subjects this semester and the price I paid includes extremely busy weeks with little or no break at all, no lunch nor any trace of happiness. Wednesday is the toughest day with an 8 hour back-to-back class nonstop from 10am till 6pm. So yea, as I've said no lunch. Thus I took the chance while the first week being rather free from no tutorial and the public holiday on Thursday, to stock up on the much needed fats and fuel.

Having no form of transport at all, made my way to paddlepop's place only to find no one there to open the gate for me despite my futile attempts shouting like a nut-head. Lulu's place was no less forgiving. Only the kind and gentle soul of Ana-chan accepted me with open arms and open the doors to her room. *winks*

but there's more to this life

Had music practice at 7.30pm. Practice started off rather rusty but after a good warm-up, we ran through the entire 28 songs with little mistakes and stops. In fact, we ran through the entire list twice and even practice on our songs that we're gonna play before the the actually musical starts and a medley of Christmas songs at the end too. Gotta love the jazz and the blues.
