| exams and flaming rats

You didn't actually think that I was gonna show ya a flaming rat was I? Tsk tsk tsk~ How naive young people are these days. First off..

CONGRATS TO FINALLY FINISHING SOME FRIEDCHIKEN EXAM~!!

Secondly. As previously mentioned in the previous post written previously on some privy day, here are some more things one should partake and/or consume before leaving Melaka. Observe;

homemade roast pork (sau row)

yee kiaw (fish slices) crispy prawn noodles

Available from morning to noon only, this little yee kiaw crispy prawn noodles thingy has been my staple meal for the past one week. If you like crispy prawn in your prawn noodles, you MUST try SOME of this GOOD FOOD®. Speaking of eating this delish SGF®, allow me to rant on the parking capabilities of the owner of this vehicle. Observe;

Yes, it is parked. Yes, it is parked by a snobbish looking middle-aged woman. Yes, we arrived after her and left before her as she was taking her unbelievably sweet time eating so much so that by the time my dad and I were done, she haven't even touched her coffee yet. Seeing how such a being can be soooooooo uneducated, illiterate and just plain ignorant and inconsiderate really *irri's me a lot~

awesome parking skillz

Makes me feel like trapping it like a rodent and torching it. Speaking of which last Saturday, mom complained that she saw a rat in the store room and asked me to set up the trap. I did. Following morning the rat was neatly trapped in it. It was cute. Observe;

what's that? a cutie-looky thingy?

it IS cute and adorableeeee~ eek eek eek~

What happened next, IMAO, was the better method than the ones suggested, i.e carbon-monoxide poisoning (thanx j.leong), and boiling hot water (everyone else). For me? I choose to be different. I choose to take a step further because, if it's worth doing, it's worth over-doing. Observe;

BLAST YOU GOOGLE CENSORSHIP!!

Fast track to Thursday....

Was rather fruitful too. Helped beloved CF'er shift her stuff to her new home and for a pint-size gurl, she has a whole load of things. Not to mentioned she was previously residing in an apartment. Observe;

see all that? yeap~ that's hers

To celebrate (almost everyone's) final paper for the semester and also to give a simple farewell to those who were leaving, half of the CF people went out for a simple makan and movie. Where in the world can fit so many hungry rowdy people??? Observe;

amigos.. where the food is more expensive but not as nice as wok and pan

*with cute voice* tertypoop~

After a not so satisfying meal (my cheesy-baked rice was far from cheesy), we headed to GSC at DP (and no, GSC and DP are not the acronyms for... nevermind) to catch an old nonsensical, plot-riddled, time-traveling pitch about fate; Terminator Salvation. Observe;

once again, immaterial things prevail against ana-chan~

Yes to my viewers outside of Malaysia, Ana-chan is at a legal age of consent. *koff* Back to good ol' Termie.

If ya take the movie for what it is; a simple, action-packed, pop-corn cruncher, it does its job well. Sure there are cheesy lines here and there but hell, it's much better than time-traveling. However, there's but one regret from the movie. Nearly at the last scene when..

SPOILER ALERT!!

A CGI Arnie, which is much like the CGI Rock from mummy, appeared. The camera spanned slowly starting from his bare-nekkid legs and moving up slowly... and at that moment, I was blinded by a disfiguring bright white light...

A sensation of peace lingered...

Emotions never felt before overwhelmed me...

Arnie has no ding-dongs...

Instead, it was replaced by the machines with something equally brutal and bloody...

Observe... at your own risk.

MAIII AYEESSSSS~!!!

Blinded yet? Heh~

Will miss all ye who'art leaving. :) Nitezz~

| sim pork curry wan tan sour cream dip

So yea. Shame on the pirates who put up The Sims 3 by EA Black Box two freaking weeks before the scheduled release. It is my duty to therefore, track down the source of the crack and to do that, I needed to get my hands dirty...

pre-celebration retribulation

starfishlovesyoupleaselovemetoo

So most of the people my batch are graduating soon, leaving me all alone. Being unable to extend any emotional response outwardly to the world around me due to upbringing and psychological conditioning is tough for me.. real tough because deep down inside, I'm feeling all sad and blue - and that is hard for people to fathom. Don't blame them though cause candy mountain does exist.

Things you JUST MUST EAT before leaving Melaka.

The other day while studying, Ess-Oh and I had the urge for some nachos in sour cream dip. Coincidentally, dad wanted to go Giant and thus, we tagged along and got ourselves sour cream and cachos (the cheaper equivalent of nachos).

Got home, dug up some suitable recipe from the wet world wide web. Changed the recipe to suit Malaysian taste and our effort-to-worth ratio. So our sour cream dip is made of;
1. sour cream
2. olive oil
3. garlic
4. cheddar cheese (lots of it)
5. salt and pepper
6. parsley

Stir hard and long (naish~). Microwave on High for 30 seconds. Stir harder and longer (veli naish~). Put in the fridge till it cools down and settles. Take it out and stir. Serve with your cachos for Some Good Food®

nothing like cachos and sour cream for awesome win

charlie the unicorn should try this

Well. Tomorrow (or more precisely, today) I'll be sitting for my last paper for the semester then I'm off to meet my Academic Advisor who's also my Final Year Project lecturer to kick-off my project.

Timmy: But why so early?
Me: Well Timmy, because it's hard.
Timmy: Hard?
Me: Yea, hard as in......... heh~
Timmy: Difficult?
Me: YES! Difficult. You lil' smart rug-rat.
       Difficult and two semesters long.
Timmy: Why is it long and hard?
Me: ...... because.. my topic.. is..
Face Recognition for Smart Kiosk

Me: And I have to built the face recognition engine for identification purposes which is helluva lot harder than verification purposes. sigh~

Wish me luck folks. Nitez and outz~

p.s. timmy was not harm in the process of writing this post
p.s.s eating cachos with sour cream dip while watching the black gay guy grill some red meat on license to grill WILL MAKE YOU JIZZ!! (you have been warned)

| do ya like mah turkish delight?

Take a quick break before the start of..

EXAM WEEK!!

Now I know that Narnia is like sooooooo yesterday (unless they make a sequel or something) but I gotta say, disco NEVER gets old.

David Crowder*Band
Turkish Delight

Stumbled through the doorway
Into the strangest thing
An unexpected magic land
With snow beneathe my feet
Came across a lady who
Dressed herself in white
She took her coat to cover me
Then a query cold as ice

What do you want?

Turkish Delight
(It's my favorite thing) It's my favorite thing
Turkish Delight
(All I want to do) What I wouldn't do, what I wouldn't do
Turkish Delight
(It's my favorite thing) It gets me every time
Turkish Delight
(All I want to do) What I wouldn't give, what I wouldn't give
(What I wouldn't do for her?)

Wouldn't think I'd fall for it
Wouldn't think I'd lie
But I think I'd do anything
For that tiny bit of pie
I would sell you out
I'd give you all away
A life of treats might do me in
But I gotta get another taste

Turkish Delight
(It's my favorite thing) It's my favorite thing
Turkish Delight
(All I want to do) What I wouldn't do, what I wouldn't do
Turkish Delight
(It's my favorite thing) It gets me every time
Turkish Delight
(All I want to do) What I wouldn't give, what I wouldn't give
(What I wouldn't do for her?)

The more I have the more I want

Yes Timmy, the horror is over. You can open your eyes now.
God bless for the exams peeps~

| cries of a nebula

Last Tuesday was an especially blessed day for me- blessed in terms of food. Why? Because last Tuesday I had the opportunity to have a buffet lunch in City Bayview for FREE and dinner at Klebang's Seafarer Restaurant for FREE. To top it off was the dessert (not to be confused with the barren, often misspelled non-counterpart desert); a RM30 saman from good ol' MBMB for parking outside of Ayer Keroh's Jusco. Well.. I guess I deserve that dessert as my stubbornness do get the better of me on the good days. Thankfully can rayu to reduce it to RM15 and to top it off, if ya pay the fine within 24 hours, it's reduced to RM5.

Gotta love wiki.

No pics from the lunch at City Bayview with J.Leong, J.Lim, v.J and myself though but I DO have some pics from Seafarers.

the bee-you-tea-pool sunset

The ex-comm arrived at Seafarers at an early 6.45pm and were immediately drawn into the beautiful, serene surroundings. Nothing like the sound of waves slowly coming in as the tide rises. However, such peace often drive people to take their lives unexpectedly. Such was the case of the gurl below..

DON'T DO IT!! WE STILL LURV YOUUUU~

We shouted at the top of our lungs in hopes to snap her out of her trance-like walk few feet away from sinking into the ocean and swimming with the fishes. However we were unsuccessful. She took one fatal step off the.. steps and fell into the sea, swept by the current into the open blue shitty-sickly-green. The girls with us screamed in utter horror. Time was of the essence. Seafarer's speedboat, Stephanie was rolled out.

keep rollin rollin rollin

The event caused one of the gurls to snap into a psychosis and started to interact with what seemed to be an invisible object. Concern but more puzzled we went to tend to her. To our utter shock, the object she was interacting with wasn't invisible. No, it was a matter of perception of spacetime. Photos were taken as evidence of her mental condition. Isolation and treatment advised.

and you thought street mimes were good

something's really odd with this pic..

The traumatized witnesses of the event instinctively began the healing process of their minds. They retreated to certain quarters of the restaurant. Some were locked in the fetal position, withdrawing from reality. Others.. others found solace in others.

let the healing begin

Some found solace in gluttony. Feasting on SGF®s like the awesome Pongteh chicken, cold tofu, veggie stir fried in garlic, fried Siakap with fish sauce, kangkung belacan, deep fried squid fritters and last but definitely not least, black pepper crab.

Some Good Food®

Others were dangerously into very harmful non-alcohol substance abuse. Justifiable as any form of abuse is harmful. Yes kids, playing with strangers on the internet and reading materials like this is abusive and harmful.

if you think you're seeing things, call the help-line

One particular pair was dangerously close into murder. The male suspect (which may look like me, sound like me, but trust me, it isn't me) was trying to push his female companion off the wooden plank, apparently wanting to 'end the suffering'. With blood-shot red eyes and rabid-foamed frothing mouth, he refused to let go even as good (and helluva brave) samaritans tried using extreme force to save both these lost souls.

it ends tonight

But....

*SPALSH!!*

Both the confused pair fell off the plank and into the depths of the dark abyss. They didn't resurfaced. Their belongings left at the site were searched and what remained was nothing short of a tear-jerking remnant of the love they once had.

good bye

This however, was not the end of the sad story on this post. Another friend, dear to me and Ess-Oh, perished on a cold, wet Wednesday night. She was my friend, my companion who fought the good fight till the end of her time. When we found her, she was lying peacefully on a comfortable cushion of love and care.

We will miss you.

RIP

With Hope

This is not at all how
We thought it was supposed to be
We had so many plans for you
We had so many dreams
And now you've gone away
And left us with the memories of your smile
And nothing we can say
And nothing we can do
Can take away the pain
The pain of losing you, but ...

We can cry with hope
We can say goodbye with hope
'Cause we know our goodbye is not the end, oh no
And we can grieve with hope
'Cause we believe with hope
There's a place where we'll see your face again
We'll see your face again

And never have I known
Anything so hard to understand
And never have I questioned more
The wisdom of God's plan
But through the cloud of tears
I see the Father's smile and say well done
And I imagine you
Where you wanted most to be
Seeing all your dreams come true
'Cause now you're home
And now you're free, and ...

We can cry with hope
We can say goodbye with hope
'Cause we know our goodbye is not the end, oh no
And we can grieve with hope
'Cause we believe with hope
There's a place where we'll see your face again
We'll see your face again

We have this hope as an anchor
'Cause we believe that everything
God promised us is true, so ...

We can cry with hope
We can say goodbye with hope
'Cause we know our goodbye is not the end, oh no
And we can grieve with hope
'Cause we believe with hope
There's a place by God's grace
There's a place where we'll see your face again
We'll see your face again

We wait with hope
And we ache with hope
We hold on with hope
We let go with hope

Good nite peeps and God bless in your exams. Till after the finals!

p.s. Ess-Oh shed a tear as the one that perished was mine and it reflected me leaving this place before her

IF YOU CAN'T FINISH READING
THIS POST THE FIRST ROUND,
TAKE YOUR TIME,
COME BACK
AND TRY AGAIN

/pops out

Hiya guys! It's been like, what- a month (40 days to be precise) since I've been out of my lil' hole here. Sorry for like, not posting for a month (40 days to be precise) and stuff. Thanks for all the thoughtful worries and motivation that gave me just the right push to once again, fill this secluded world of cyberspace with junk.

Where have I been? you might ask..

wheeeeeeeeee~

Well.. for one; hanging around. For another, finishing up assignments/projects/misc; the usual debacle of trying to balance the whole universe (was in a hot dense state and nearly forty billion years ago expansion started, wait- and the earth began to cool, autotrophs began to drool, neanderthal developed tools, we built the walls-we built the pyramids! Math, science, history, unravelling the mysteries, that all started with.. before the world began you were on His mind, and every tear you cry is precious in His eyes, because of His great love He gave His only Son, everything was done so you would come..) with a single equation.

*munch munch munch*

Other than that, I've been interestingly busy serving a few Sundays straight with good ol' Miss Ash (wife of Mr Light, whose kids will be born with only one fret and without strings, etc etc etc), prepping ready to finish up serving as CF comm as well as Final Year Missions, playing for weddings, etc etc etc. The usual stuff ay?

beholdthethingthateveryonethoughtitwasbutwasnt!

one small step for pizza, one giant step for ana

Had some fun here and there though and that's A Good Thing® (Ahhhh... ®s how i miss using you. we'll have so much fun together). One of the best things that happened between the month (40 days to be precise) was a birthday of my Significant Other or S.O. (pronounced Ess-Oh; thanx to the dude who made that up for me, you know who you are *winks*) and of course Law Night. The food was so so, emcee is over-rated and cross-eyed, performance sucked.. well, the idols did except for the last two. Out-sourced CF sketch was simple and good. Cross Fusion was jazzy as ever while the real highlight of my night (other than my Ess-Oh, of course) was thedudefromkopitiamomgomgomgXDFXDF- Douglas Lim! Crazy, Funny, Sublime~

twas a wonderful night, my dear Ess-Oh. Blessed Belated Burfday~

Last CF/CG ended rather well. Made me real sad thinking of how I'll be left alone while the rest of my batch brothers and sisters are gonna graduate (and yes, I do have emotions *sobz*). Gonna seriously miss you guys;

Wayne (mah-bradda-froma-diffrent-motha)
Sylvester (cat goes pew pew and karaoke)
Joel (honor serving with ya)
Julian (friend, comrade, brother)
Louis (always fun around with ya.. or more like you're the subject of the fun)
Lucius (sorry for playing around with the awkwardness- heh~ go jou!)
Tzeh Wy (the jokes are amplified with ya around)
Renee (the masks were never really masks but a different aspect of you XDF)
Jess (thanx for allowing me to irri ya all the time.. it be fun! XDF)
Kay Lyn (for the words not spoken, may the heart be felt)
Sharon (tomorrow morning if you wake up..)
Elaine (aaaAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHhhhhh~)
Tee Chor Ping (as long as we learn something, it was worth it)
Wen Wen (remember, if anything happens to Julian.. I'm here~ XDF)

*sigh*

I'm hoping that despite the drag, things will continue to look good. Now lets talk about movies.

Well.. more like, lemme rant about movies.

For one, X-Men:Origin:Wolverine. I was hoping they'ed redeem themselves from the utter hatred for making X-Men1,2 and 3 but I was wrong. It seems hollywood (and their accursed screenwriter/director) have this on-going cancer of making unbelievably sucky films based on famous names as a way to make money. The only people that seem to like it are those who hath no slightest clue of the true story and girls who wanted to see the actor who played Logan butt-naked, running across the street and into a barn. Wonder what fantasies they're having during that scene. heh~

read: budd-light nekkid

But the worse thing they could've done was to make superkewl Deadpool lame. As in, "..a pool of powers; Deadpool. All the strengths, none of their weaknesses" lame.
Behold, here's Wade Wilson aka Deadpool;

Other related news, Star Trek rocks. Easy candidate for movie of the year. First 5 minutes made my Ess-Oh cry and lemme tell ya this, she NEVER NEVER cries.

spock-house-wontdieone

Once again, take your time reading this. If ya can't finish it the first run, come back and try some other time. heh~

Nites peeps~

p.s. that special post about you, Ai will have to wait kay? XD
