| the long awaited posts

Last Saturday a group of us went to Seremban to minister and lead worship for Esther's church. We didn't really gave ourselves a name but I'm thinking somewhere along the lines of "Eshter and Best Friends". Yeah~

awesomess maximuss parkingess

It was truly a blessing to minister to those guys and I believe that though through a minor culture shock, the baptist church took it well and really opened their arms to us. We didn't get to eat Seremban crabs but the awesome beef noodles and hakka min is good enough.

awesome beef noodles come with peanuts

Esther Dear lives in a AWESOMELY HUGE BUNGALOW humble home made perfectly for a family of four. Her parents and brother are a really welcoming bunch, especially the mom who was really proud of her longan tree. In front of her house, there's this stray dog and her puppies which are sooooo adorable. All of them are black except one.. which is brown.

*gasp!* you scandalous wench!

Thanx Esther Dear for taking us around. Though it's already one week past, the memories of it endure. Free huggiess from him and I~!

Good nite peeps~

| nobody likes a rat

Saw a rat/mouse creep into my room one day and I said to the little rodent,

"Thou dareth trespass into my abode? Dost thou not fear me?"

And it ran out. Borrowed from the beautiful and lovely paddlepoppers the rat-trap; traps rats every time (mice are seasonal though). Set up some smelly salted fish (sorry wayne, justyne) as bait and true enough the next morning, I've got a little gift awaiting me....

. . . . . GAH~!! IT'S SHOOOOOO KIUUTTTT~~

Since I was alone at home, I figured I'd just let it out somewhere in my taman's playground but yet, I was worried if it'll get caught and cruelly killed. Thus, I thought of taking it upon myself to put it out of its misery ala lobster style but the darn rodent wouldn't sit still. Plus, mom will kill me if I'd use any one of her blades.

Last resort - a quick and fiery death.

salut dengan coklat nyam nyam~

=the end=

I'm off to Seremban to see Esther Dear's parents to discuss of our future.

Good nite~ heh~

| the un-holiday week: part ii

Once again I've been lacking on the update section of this blog. Been rather busy with things and though the it's the first week with no tutorials, it's still rather un-holiday for me. I shall now talk solely all-positive stuff about my holiday in Kota Kinabalu (no emo and rant) and chuck a whole load of bandwidth-munching pictures.

Good luck.

Early Friday morning Air Asia flight to KK and a short drive to 1Borneo and we reached our hotel, Tune Hotel. I kinda like the concept of 'no-frills'

unfinished but rushed for soft-opening, 1borneo

hmmm.. looks like air asia fonts and color..

i so dig this

small room but big bed for bigger action

Later that evening, we went to check out the Filipino Wet Market and grab some giler expensive seafood there because honestly, we're just a bunch of dumb tourist who are easily konned. Next morning we walked around town and grabbed some quick Hainan Chicken Rice, went to check out locations on the tourist's map and Sacred Heart Cathedral turned out to be a letdown.

we paid RM65 but bro swore that he saw someone paying RM5.. hehe~

kota kinabalu has pyramids, melaka has balls - FTW!

must... resist... saying... something stupid

That night we ate more seafood but this time, it's more commercial. We ate at Fish & Co that's in 1Borneo; bro and I paid RM140 for it. There's also a very cool Japanese all-RM5 shop called Daisho in the furthest end, on the highest floor of 1Borneo. It's cool because it's Japanese. Why, you ask? It's because..

And with that in mind, brother wasted spent his RM5 very well with this nifty lil' thing he bought from there.

it's gonna be legen- wait for it..

dairy!!

Next morning we took the free shuttle from 1Borneo to Warisan Centre and walked all the way to Jesselton Point to catch a boat that'll take us to Sapi island and Manukan island. The decision of spontaneous and not planned but bro and I snorkeled on the waters of both island and we got burnt for it. There's nothing like white skin in the shape of a 3-quarter pants.

saw some graffiti along the way

the jetty of jesselton

mom's hair was saying, "WHEEEEeeeeeeee~~"

lovely manukan island

We headed back to town grabbed some of KK's Bak Kut Teh. Back at 1Borneo, the lovely people of Starbucks and the Starbuck's family were kind to us.. waaaay kind to us.

world! that some small soup

lovely sun over the city

mm mmm~ gotta love *bucks

thanks moi moi~

Next morning, Jeremy was kind enough to drive us around and for that, he got a donut for his effort. He took us to the museum, around town and to eat some funkee mee called tauren mee (purposely misspelled for stef) for dinner.

jem boii~

hav a donut

the skeleton of the whale be cool

classics are always entitled for a pic

After a spending the evening looking out into the lovely streets outside 1Borneo, the following morning, Jem took us to eat some nice cheap crab, RM15 per-kilogram! After that we chilled at Tanjung Aru, hoping to catch a glimpse of the sunset before leaving this lovely city. Unfortunately, due to uncontrollable, evil plot against my family, we could see the sunset and headed home on our delayed Air Asia flight. Touched-down home in Melaka at 12.10am.

lovely city lights

cheap food here we come~

crab crab crab~

near sunset

Sorry for the lack of updates and the crammy post.

Good nite and hello Cleo~

| the un-holiday week: part i

Looks like it is as previously predicted, my holidays are virtually nonexistent. I shall now attempt to retrace the steps of my lovely eventful holiday.

the babysitter

From 2nd to 5th June, Joel and myself heed the cries of Pastor Joanne for two brave (male) souls to venture into the dangerous world of baby sitting ang moh kia kids! Picture this; Monday till Thursday, from 8.00AM till 9.30PM (and sometimes it drags on till 10pm). Madness right?!

the test of fatherhood (maddie in pic)

The Southeast Asia Missions team people were kind enough to not leave us into the wilderness. We're there as helpers for the only 25 year old, lone teacher, Lacrisha (pronounced: ler-krish-sha). Since there are more boys than gals and if we weren't around, taking them to potty will be rather tricky for her.

omigosh~ jo-l taking advantage of the young heart

We took care of 7 kids under the age of 7 (brother/sisters); (Wesley, Addie), (Maddie, Caleb), T.J., (Alex, and Asher). Their usual schedule follows; morning swims, snacks, games, lunch, lessons, dinner, and finally evening movies. Unlike my earlier perception of ang moh kids, these guys were really good kids (so much so i had a dream of them recently).

the perks of working with me

Lacrisha takes the lead in the activities and Jo and I help her in any way we can. We dance, do short bible lessons, play games, run around with them kids too. But as I've mastered the art of diverting conversations, I too have now mastered the art of diverting kid's attention.

/being chased by kids - tired
/taps joel's shoulders
/say "Hey guys, Joel is it! Go get him!"

"watch mah jewels kids!"

the torture.. the pain..

During the mornings they'll be all hyper and stuff but towards the evening, they'll be a lil' more passive. Normally a good VeggieTales or some animated movie will finish them off.

give us this day our daily caffeine

asher, brother of alex

On the last day, we took them to the zoo in the morning. I gotta say, Melaka Zoo has sure changed a lot since the last time I went there. Good bye petting zoo, Hello dangerous electric fence.

alex, brother of asher

That evening, Jo and I planned to take Lacrisha out to enjoy some good ol' Melakan food, but her missionary mentor ditched her and as part of her being in missions school, one of the rules states that she can't go out with guys alone, nor can she enter a relationship without approval. Thus, with quick thinking we bought her malak. Don't tell me ya'll have already forgotten about the powder from hell.

JENG! JENG! JEEENG!!

We bought it for her because Crish was saying how she really love spicy food and most of the chilli she has eaten doesn't give her the kicks - The malak blew her off. I couldn't help laughing at her and now I feel bad.

Good bye Crish

Lacrisha's currently doing missions in the Philippines and she says that she had found her calling in missions and will continue to fulfill it.

That's all from the first week.

I'm tired. Nite peeps~

| owh wow~

For the past few months, World of Warcraft just got bigger and badder with the addition of the Epic Twelve Inchers guild. Before I go on, let me introduce myself;

[trailer starts]

Join the Epic Twelve Inchers today and enjoy great benefits!!

My name is Wontdieone. "Funny name", you might think to yourself but I guess while still human, my parents must've foreseen the destruction of Lordaeron led by the Dark Knight Arthas of the Scourge whom through the cursed blade Frostmourne that's under the influence of the powerful Lich King who sits on the Frozen Throne and in his war, made countless of mindless undead minion who's will bows solely to the Lich King, thus making me, literally, Wontdieone (there's always a Spirit Healer nearby).

get assistant in quest and leadership training skillz!

But I.. I am different. I struggle to fight for my free will as the call of the Lich King still echoes in my tattered soul. No longer am I part of the Scourge; I am Forsaken and my queen is who gave me back my freewill is Lady Sylvanas, the Mindless Banshee, The Dark Ranger. As an undead and a rogue, I hide in the shadows and fight the war for my Queen, for my will, the Will Of The Forsaken.

[trailer ends]

. . . . . . .

Anyway, so yea, the Epic Twelve Inchers guild recently had a few new comers whom we helped as much as we can. They are; Moriande(Job L.), Tanthelys(Jonathan L.), Thianna(Elvi), and Delystia(Elys). Thianna is my apprentice rogue-in-training. I shall teach her to hide in the shadow and of course, the ways of the The Behind.

join in the epic mud-wrestling!

Bleh~ Tomorrow gotta take care of a bunch of kids. Hopefully I haven't lost my charm. Need to wake up at 7am, reach Equatorial hotel at 8am, take care of more than 10 kids from 8.30am till 9.00pm.
