| holidays are over, everyone's normal

It's a brand new season of the hot reality TV show, The Simple Life Of MMU'ians. In the end of the last season, we watched as Andrew from MMUCF got his new computer and got attached to his pet sugar glider, SugarGabe. Also, accompanying Pastor Joanne to Bethel Church last Saturday was Renee and Jason L on the vocals while Jo-L and Andy handled the guitars. Last season ended in a nerve-wrenching cliffhanger as Jess was about to reveal her new boy-friend..

actually, her name is Mom.. seriously

Mann, that'll be one heck of a show wouldn't it? But alas, Jess is still mighty single and availability depends on the ever changing market. Heh~ But anyways, now that the semester has started I fear that I have not fulfill all the goals I set out to accomplish before the holiday started. Lets recap.

Things I'm gonna do:
1. Go Sunway Lagoon Resort with X
(done)
2. Go KL and go nuts (that's a 2 in 1) with X
(done)
3. Take a B to Friends Cafe'
(done)
4. Visit S at National Service Camp (bring fast-food)
(done- without fast-food though)
5. Take S2 out go kai-kai
(failed)
6. Take E (if she's in melaka) out for 21st Bday treat
(failed)
7. Chill out with other konn manns
(done)

Things I wanna do:
1. Workout and get back that super sexy body I once had. heh~
(failed.. miserably)
2. Finally buy that new computer I've been waiting for ages to get
(done)
3. Somehow drastically improve my guitar skills - just like in them mangas
(subjective)
4. Oh yea~ Read mangas, and watch animes and TV series
(failed)
5. Drop my average speed to 90kmh.
(failed)
6. For crying out loud, wash my bike.
(failed)
7. Cut my hair.
(failed)

Lays at Giant are only RM5! 7/11 sells 'em at RM8!!
and they taste soooooo goooooood~

Hmmm.. Guess I ain't to surprise to see how the holiday turned up. The first week wasn't that great. The second week got slightly better. The third was getting good. And the only problem is that there's no fourth week. I need longer holidays. *sigh* Quite a crazy thing though this semester's schedule. My Mondays are so packed that I can't even eat lunch. Check this out, my lectures from 8am-10am, 12pm-5pm, 6pm-7pm and finally, 8pm-10pm. Nutz I tell ya. Here's my favourite pic of the holiday.

| you're reading - Animal Plaenet

No this is not some animal fetish'ish post. Try saying fetish but add another 'ish' at the back, it's real fuuney~ Go on, say it out loud or think it in your mind. But first, I word from our sponsors.

lalalala~
starbucks! starbucks! starbucks!
the best star you get in a buck!
vanilla or chocolate, caramel or hazelnut
black or latte, frappucinno or satay
the best star you get in a buck!

I can't believe I made you think the word fetish'ish.

I've been spending more time than usual feeding the sugar glider. I dunno why though. It could either be that I'm getting attached to it or that the ending of the holiday makes me yearn for that special bond with it that I missed during the last 3 weeks. But no, this ain't no animal fetish, I've made that clear in the first line. *koff*

sugar gliders are cute when stir-fried

Sugargabe. That's what I'm gonna call her. Initially I was going for Squiggles but when I think of Squiggles, I think of Jinggles and when I think of Jinggles, I think of Jes- oh, never mind. heh~ So yea, Sugargabe. Sugerbabe's already taken and I'm not that creative when it comes to names. Look at mine, An****. It so common and normal. No creativity in that I assure you.

sugargabe feeding while sitting on my crotch

If you remove the words 'while sitting', things will get ugly. Hahahaha~ Sorry for the crude jokes and I-dunno-what-to-call-it. I blame the coffee mann. I blame the coffee. I guess the ending of the semester holiday means that I'm gonna have to channel all my craziness somewhere right? Nobody wants a crazy An**** during the semester do they now. They want the nice, lovable, huggable Andrew. heh~

no comments.. you don't wanna read it

See you guys next week~

| tattoo

There other day I got drunk bored and without realizing it, I got myself a tattoo on my right shoulder. It looks stupid but it definitely manage to convince my dad to get one too and so he did. Sadly though, I liked his better than mine.

two koi's representing his two sons

Isn't it cool?? Mom wasn't really happy about it though but she kept it to herself. Funny though, she was especially annoyed at mine and after a few days, I got annoyed with mine too.

see what i mean?

That's the reason why you should never get a tattoo when you're drunk bored. NEVER. heh~

| first filler post of the year.. well not really

Today's church service was, well.. surprisingly packed. Though most of you dudes are away on holiday and MMUCF'ers have gone back to their respective hometowns, you'd think that CCC's a little quieter than usual.

You wrong.

We have 2 groups of National Service kids from Ayer Keroh and Gunung Ledang joining us. Pastor's friends from New Zealand and bunch of other people came too. Raj was worship leading today and we had a great time praise and worshiping God.

the blue hawaii (or sprite with lemon juice and coloring)
price: RM5.90

Later some of the CFers went to Yee's Bakery to have lunch (it's the one along the road to go to Bukit China). It's been awhile since I last came here and after today, I remembered why. Yee's Bakery makes you feel like you're in Genting Highlands where the food's mediocre and the prices cost more than 5 pines of blood. Yea.

this is the closest you'll ever get to see it.. hehe~

When you guys are down, lets go lepak at Friends Cafe' where the money's worth the wallet in toilet. Nite peeps~

| the lizard, the snake and the eye

No, it's not a sequel to the Chronicles of Narnia. Absolutely no relations to Harry Potter too. By the way, I don't like Harry Potter.

This post is about the cute lil' animals in my house. I have people from all walks of life, staring at them going all 'Ooooo~' and 'Ahhhh~'. Some of my friends even take photos with the animals as if I'm some guy by the clock-tower with an iguana or a python on my shoulders. heh~

beavis and butthead.. nah~ they're too cute for that

These are the two famous bearded dragons, cousins to the dragon beard sweets that you can find at the local megamall. Most of you have already met its kind during Melaka Camp 06 when ZX felt that his bearded dragon, named Bob, would be very lonely at night without its master... does that sound wrong? The night part I mean..

*no ones laughing* Moving along..

Yea, so the one at the left of the picture is a seriously lazy dragon. Not to confuse tame with lazy. A tame bearded dragon will let you pet its head, give you nice smiles when taking picture and do hunting pose during photo shoots. These guys, however, are as lazy as university students during their semester holiday. Especially the one on the left.

feeeeeed meeeee!! feeeeeed meeeee!!

He's so lazy, when you approach him, he'll open his mouth and wait for you to put the food in his mouth. Like hatchlings of birds except this guy ain't no hatchling. I guess this is the consequences of pampering them too much. My dad used to feed them meshed food with protein and nutrients through a syringe directly into their mouth and they'll just lift their heads and open up with mouth, sucking the head of the syringe. *koff*

okay.. that sounded wrong too..

what in the world is that?!

The other pair who's not as famous as their neighbour are the snake-necked turtles. As their name suggest, they have awfully long snake-like necks for a turtle and they strike their prey like snakes too. Their bites can be vicious too. No kidding. They'll bite and hang on to whatever it is even if it drags them out of the aquarium. I got bit once and that bugger was just twisting and twisting even after I left my hand out of the aquarium. Wasn't too bad though as didn't bleed.

the kiut'est of them all

This one needs no introduction. Say hello to the kiut'est pet in the Liu home. Furrier than the tarantulas, quicker than the scorpions, and not-as-lazy as the bearded dragons. This is, the sugar glider. Normally when introducing it to my friends I'll just call it a squirrel. Saves more time than saying it's a sugar glider, only to have my friends going ,"Huh?". Plus, any name with 'sugar' in it is definitely diabetically sweet. heh~

Well, that's all folks. Nite nite~

| 1st week down - 2nd up now

flood fallout fa-la-la-la-la

Yea, my room's still quite messy even as I'm typing this post. Still taking time to adjust to the new computer being in this semi-sanctuary of mine. Messy. Yea. Them boxes are still around and table's still a huge pile of mess. Junks needed be sorted out.

they packed an xfx 7900gs mug for me too!

Not really. Just using the new feature in Photoshop CS2 - real cool stuff I tell ya. Went to Seremban last Saturday for, well, holiday. heh~ A little rubbing of shoulders before and during the journey up but it's all good. Shoot straight to Port Dickson upon arrival and ate at some very yummy seafood restaurant that's 'halal'. What's up with that eh? At least them lobster with cheese sauce was super good.

damsel in distress

dumb-head in distress

The next day, a Sunday (dear God, I'm sorry I missed church!), we went up to Sunway Lagoon to have some fun (i'm really really sorry God!!) under the sun. But alas.. as if it were a sign..

Sunway Lagoon Closed - Under Major Construction!

Just kidding. It's all good.

I guess I could sum up my experience at Sunway Lagoon with just two words - wet babes. heh~ Kidding. I ain't that sad of a case. Should I rate Sunway based on the holiday places I normally visit, I'd say that it's much more fun than Genting. Sure Genting is real chilly and stuff but Sunway is just hot.. with babes. hahahaha~

one of the only few pics i took

After much fun and since we were IN Sunway Lagoon, why not check out Sunway Pyramid? So we did. I think we spent more time staring at the ice skating ring than walking around. Guess it'll be more fun if came with them hot babes from Sunway Lagoon we weren't so exhausted. Spent another night in Seremban and headed back home early Monday morning in a not that great mood, but it's all good. heh~

met the chick at the lagoon

After transferring my essential files and folders from the old PC and doing much system administration on the new rig, I did what anyone would do - overclock 'em. But I tweak the Core 2 Duo a little only as I'm not that experience in overclocking. So I went from the stock 2.13GHz to 2.49GHz. Not that big of a difference but it'll go up.. soon. As for the graphics, I have 3 games installed; X3: Reunion, Prey, and Dawn Of War : Dark Crusade and I gotta say, the graphics looking real awesomely sweet.

MY EYES! MY EYES!!

Another funny note. At the back of the XFX 7900GS on the bottom left of the box, there's a warning note with a huge exclamation mark. It reads;

Extreme Gaming Experience
Health Warning

People with high blood pressure,
a back or heart condition should
not use this card; the unmatched
graphics quality may be too
exhilarating and realistic.
(We're just kidding! It's all good.
XFX products are safe.)

Now that's what I call attitude in a box. heh~ Have a great night peeps. Those who're in Penang right now, hope you guys have fun ya? To my dear friend, take it easy okay? WontdieonE signing out.

| pictures missed in the last 1 week

ACHTUNG!
DEATH TO 56K USERS!

This post is more like a plog (a mark choo term), chronologically following events that happened and is stored in the form of images starting from the 4th of January, 2007. So do brace yourself for an unbelievably long loading time. only if you're a malaysian using suxmyx as your isp.

still a very very long line

after 1 and a half hour of waiting..

Was having lunch with GerX in Bukit Beruang area when suddenly my mom called. "Son! Faster come to Dewan Sri Negeri now. Can collect the flood funds already!". Good bye lunch. Good bye GerX. Hello soon-to-be-mine-my-family's RM200. heh~ Flew there, entered the hall and now, for the most exciting part of it all...!! waitied.. and waited.. and waited for my-dear-turtle knows how long. After 1 and a half hours, *ka-ching!* show me the money- RM200? Awww.. At least RM200 is better than nothing eh?

dinner that night

Mom was a little happy with the extra cash. Though how little it was, mom celebrated by cooking a very very yummylicious meal of chicken, beef and mutton in curry-satay sauce, egg tofu and mince meat, chinese stir-fry vegetales, and of course, spicy soup. Ahhh~

the sanctuary to the goh family

when the pillars are weak, support is given..

..be it through presence..

..or memory..

..or prayer~

Early Friday morning. Dad received a call that carried shockingly devastating news from brother. Un Phillip Goh had just passed away earlier that morning. Dad took emergency leave while mom took early leave and came back in the afternoon. By 2pm we started our journey up to Puchong. We came and helped out what little we could but I guess all that we could really do, is just be there for them. By nightfall, the wake service started and tears streamed down the cheeks of the Goh family. Friends, families, relatives all came. A number of CFers came too to show their support to Grace and Richard. At the end of it all, we were reminded of how easy it is to lose a loved one and how we should cherish what we have; be grateful to God for what He has given us.

Sunday night LAN party

W accidentally touching E's thighs.. hmmm~

On Sunday night, after finishing my final paper I went to the LAN party at Elijah's crib. The event was organized by VJ and he did a rather good job for an amateur. Many CFers came and we played various games ranging from the good ol' Quake III Arena, to the classical Counter-Strike, the now-getting-uber-boring Warcraft III DOTA and the seldom played Alien vs Predator 2. Stef was kind enough to bring her Playstation 2 so people who aren't really PC fans can also enjoy themselves getting a whoop-ass from Stef in DOA and other fighting games. heh~ Played till 4am in the morning, went out for some dim-sum and head home. It's all gooooood~

shoooo kiuuut~

xtra shoooo kiuuuut~

During the hair-pulling long blackout that strike my taman, I got bored. So I fed the family pets, and took a long video recording of my family python, Trial attacking and eating a very cute mousy. It's fun watching him strike its prey and swallow it whole. It's like having Animal Planet or Nat Geo right in front of your eyes. Crikey! That night I found a picture I have never seen before in my entire life; a picture of my brother and I when we were kids. Aren't I cute?

my wives reunited once again.. now dear, don't fight ya?

got two of them new ernie's ball straps.. heh~

got my 1st wife and 3rd wife new strings

3rd wife looking really pretty.. (me happy)

Recently got my wives back too. All thanks to Kok Wei who so happened to be around after a holiday in Genting. If he wasn't at home, I wouldn't be able to see my wife till the new semester starts and that makes me sad sad. So I bought them presents. New straps for the electric and semi-acoustic, and new strings for the semi-acoustic and acoustic. I changed the strings of the acoustic too so that when I start the guitar class next semester, people will find it easier to press the strings. Get ready Paddlepoppers (and others).

the best 2nd hand furniture shop in Melaka (free-advert)

Bought new, second-hand, computer table and chair for the coming of my new computer. *excited*

look familiar?

nothing beats drinking great coffee during a long day

Went to KL on Thursday afternoon after brother gave the go ahead that his contact in Low Yat can get the exact specs I wanted for the computer. Took the 2.30pm Transnational bus and I must say, of all the trips I've taken across states, this bus driver has to be the most slacker and reckless of them all. SMSing and talking on the phone will driving, eating and reading magazine WHILE driving, and the most annoying was singing SUPER loud while driving. But it's quite funny to watch him do all those things though. heh~

good bye old flood-ridden computer table

hello new computer table.. this phrase is getting redundant eh?

looks simple.. i wonder what's inside tho..

i get excited every time i see this picture

the xfx 7900 gs.. gonna overclock her once warranty's over

ladies and gentlemen, my new PC

After a night at the Goh's residence, I came back yesterday with a very broad and wide smile on my face. Finally, my very own first PC. I feel.. so.. touched.. not by M.J. though.. that would be just weird and stuff. *long pause...* Okay, back to the PC. Though the price fetches a 4k, it's still much cheaper than what I could've gotten on my own. Through bro's contact I got everything seriously cheaper than I expected. I was especially surprise with the price of the graphic card. To end this really unnecessarily long post, I'm gonna lay down the relevant specs and price of my new PC.

Intel C2D E6400 2.13GHz RM820
Asus P5B Motherboard RM550
Kingston 1GB DDR2 RAM RM350
160GB Maxtor SATA Harddisk RM198
Samsung 740N 17" LCD RM590
Zalman CPU Fan CNPS9500 LED RM230
XFX nVidia 7900GS 256MB PCI-E RM760

The funny thing is that they didn't have Windows XP installer with them at that time, thus I took the PC home software-less and can't use it yet. Gonna take it to Viewcom later today. Wish me luck ya! Have a great holiday peeps~
