HAPPY BURFDAY SHIH WEN!!
CAN GET MARRIED LIAO!!! YATTAAAAA~

Choices. Definition of choices. Identity of choices. Challenges of choices. Reasons for choices. Purpose of choices. Consequences of choices.

"Choice. The problem is choice." - Neo Jan Sen

*flashback*

the faithful

Gloria is getting better these days. Obedient and smarter in fact. Unfortunately, I have no idea how to train her to stop jumping up on her two legs because when she does that, it dirties my shirt. Been playing with her more often too. Now all I need is someone who's willing to bathe her during the weekends.. hmmmm~

the common goal(?)

IEUMUEsomething-something had a BBQ party on Monday night, right after my 30 minutes of hell paper. Yeap~ There's nothing like stuffing yourself silly after being severely depressed by a tough paper. At least it's a better solution than jumping off the 8th floor of my room into the 10th floor of my bed. An interesting thing I noticed; girl-engine students were more hardworking than them men. Men - shallow.

the influence

the sibling's love

Dad brought home a Golden Retriever puppy on Sunday night. The first thought that came to my mind was mom, dog meat, and machap. Then dad said that the lil puppy, Gus, will be staying here temporary and his real owner will be picking him up on Tuesday. So Gloria had a new friend to play with.. for two days only. She was whining earlier when I came back from CF. Awwwww..~

the little reminders

Just as I was getting ready to head to YAC, as usual, I'll stop by my fridge to grab some coffee. As I closed the fridge, 3 lil fridge magnet that has been there for ages caught my attention. I remembered the reason dad to put it there and I remember its purpose and impact. The little reminders that helps us stay focus.

the choices

Today's CF was rather special as it was the 6th anniversary of the September 11 attacks on the World Trade Center. Rather than go all out emo, the team of guys who went for the Youth Pastor School, Julain, Joel, Jingles and Jai planned for the nights activities. We played a game whereby the rules are simple; 'gain as many points as possible' but as we're all well aware, simplicity comes with a catch.

the explanation

I guess it'll too long for me to explain the whole thing and what happened, etc etc. So I'll just try to sum it up into a few lines in this lil' blog. What's the point of a person/group gaining at the cost of another to lose? What drives people to make the choices to gain as much for themselves? Greed? Insecurity? Fear? Where's the spirit of unity, of placing others before oneself? In the end, if we, as one body, work together, we will save lives.

| issues of marriage and wife: part II

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KAY LYN!!

Ah yes.. after a long lecture, here's the second and final part of it. Get ready.

*takes pen out*

*gets ready to write*

gooooooo-doggy~

Relationships isn't like a level 9 Here and Now perk from Fallout 2 (though many a times we wish it is). In fact, it takes time to build on it. In the words of a famous person I once met in the mirror;

Here and Now

"Relationship is a journey of discovery; discovering who your partner is, and most importantly discovering who you are in the eyes of your partner and God".

Deep.. He must be one really smart guy.

Anyway, I found this little treasure while cleaning up the house yesterday.

Ooooo.. lookie there.. who's THAT?

Ahhhh... good ol' days.

Today's CF was a special meeting with hidden objectives of propaganda'ish purposes to brainwash them unsuspecting CF'ers. In views of a humble vaudevillian veteran, who is a victim, moved by the vicissitudes of fate. To hear the vox populi that vivifies verily left me in vanity's vast verbiage. But I've been most verbose, you may call me Vandrew. Dig it.

I guess through what I've been through things are just gonna get more challenging for me. If there's one thing that is most important in a relationship, in marriage, is understanding. My numero uno rule in any argument or issue; there is always two sides on a coin - check the flip side. Good luck in all your relationships, married or otherwise, and may you know how to separate fact from falsehood, truth from fiction and needs from wants. heh~

| issues of marriage and wife

Hold on to your seats peeps. This is gonna be a looong, naggy and draggy one.

relationships are like air tickets
if one takes off, you can always wait for the next

Relationships should never be rushed into nor should it be given little thoughts on questions such as compatibility, purpose, needs, directions and of course, the will of God. Age and time should be taken into consideration as well.

chicks who digg mutton knows how to live life

One can associate relationships to food. By ordering different types of meals, separated from the normal convenience of the menu whereas still bounded by the limitations of choices and barriers of language, seamlessly acknowledged to be known and understood but lacking, one concludes that this whole paragraph does not make any sense at all. Hence. One can't associate relationships to food. heh~

cheese cakes should saved for after marriage

When getting into a relationship, marriage should always come into mind. For what reasons or motive is there to start a relationship with no directions? If you aren't gonna last for marriage, why start? Such crude questions that people so often avoid are in fact, the most important of them all.

Personally, for me, I confess, I'm struggling now. As I've said; relationships are a tricky business and I'm barely holding on to anything right now, afraid to start anew, afraid of what my family would think. Whether can I afford it right now? Or thinking whether she's the right one for me. So I hope that you all will be praying for me that God will provide me with all the necessary things I need for this (future?) relationship to work out. Thanks.. so I want you all to meet...

| 10 years of blessings

The freshly-graduated dudes and dudettes from MMUcf are thrown into the working world, they'd think they would finally be able to give a good ol' sigh and mutter words like, "Man, I'm old.." but just as they opened their lips, CF 10th Anniversary strikes - hard.

and we thought he was old.. *chuckles* good times..

The first ever CF 10th Anniversary would make people like Samuel Yau, Jason Leong, and Edmund whom we would recognize as super-seniors, look like super juniors and in turn, makes people like me... babies.

pastor kickin' it off

To those oblivious and indifferent; it's just another "anniversary".
To the sentimental and those whom prayed; it's a prayer that has come to pass.

o-ne-ted rawking with smooth tunes (and cool hats)

The human mind drifts often and is constantly being distracted, bombarded by the senses that though we might be in the midst of something great, we might just sleep by it and not even know it passed by. We gotta learn to concentrate and just as we're part of the body of Christ, we are all, One.

we all may have different characters of style..

..but we are of one substance

Personally, I do not really know nearly half of the people in that hall that day but one thing I do know for sure, is that I felt as if I've known them all my life, as if I'm connected to them - I'm part of their lives.

the people grins, wants, sees and flies

But truly, it was difficult and maybe even nearly impossible for us to be where we are now without the help of these saints, sent by God to watch over us, to guide us and to help us in every way possible. These people serve many and ask for little in return. They're the servants and we are their mission.

God bless His servants

Also, we won't be where we are now, in a comfortable hall that we could use to fellowship, to encourage each other, to sing our praises to God, to fall on our knees and worship Him, if it weren't for the students who started it all, the first batch of CF'ers, the 1997 guys and gals, the pioneers.

thanks for starting a movement that will never cease

It's my what? 3rd- 4th year in MMU and though I've yet to graduate and get thrown into the race of the working world, in my heart, I can see the importance of this 10th Anniversary for the CF. Because as for me, I'm gonna do my part in ensuring that this CF will grow, more than just physically in numbers but also spiritually.

to God be the glory~ yea!

I guess going for the Youth Pastor School and then this CF 10th Anniversary event really stirred something in my spirit. I just pray that God will keep me in a straight line and continue to give me the strength and wisdom I need to keep on pushing and serving Him. Serving God has never been this great of a blessing.

Thanks for reading. If you're in a CF, cherish it and the time spent there, for God can and will work wonders if you would keep your eyes on Him and serve Him faithfully. Nite peeps~

Blessed 10th Anniversary and thanks Dad

| one man..

two thoughts..

three calls..

four gals..

..

I love my CG.

Almost had a mild crisis on Thursday. Initially 5 members coming. Good. The problem though, is that the ones who drive can't come. In other words, I'm grounded. But- jeng jeng jeng (haven't used that in ages) thankfully, Riro came to the rescue offering to drive her bf's car while he's resting after undergoing minor surgery.

be-be-be-beeeeef~

The above picture marks the two thousandeth picture in my suredieone photobucket account (figure not inclusive of the wontdieone account). Thank you.

So yea! Got transport! Then, suddenly, Jan Sen said he can't make it due to some last minute stuff, leaving me, one man, with four of my beautiful members. Yeap, that's right, one *koff* man, and 3 gals; Riro, Kay L, Ana-chan, and Elbert. The 5 of us went to makan Some Good Food® at Loi's Beef Bak Kut Teh (available only at selected stores nationwide). Next, we went to JJ to eat some ice cream and go walk, walk. heh~

.. women.. *rolls eyes*

heh~

It was fun hanging out with em and catching up with em and stuff. Ice cream was good too, though it was only from Mc D's - can't expect much can ya? Still, it was a good time of fellowshipping and fellowshopping. hahah~

who says one can't just ROCK into Mordor?

We were somewhat talking about relationships and stuff during makan time(Riro brought it up). Had a little discussion on the different ideas of the vastness that is BGR and I shed some light on a one little noticed fact;
a) all men are jerks
b) all women are troublesome
c) because all men are jerks, all women are troublesome
likewise, because all women are troublesome, all men are jerks

deep eh?

picture not related.. ahaks~

Nite peeps~ Stay unique. bluek~
