| sugah wer goin downn

Ooo.. what's this? click me!

Done?

So those are not the real lyrics for that song. Did some searching and walah~ there you go. Fall Out Boys, Suger We're Going Down.

fall out boys
suger, we're going down

Am I more than you bargained for yet
I've been dying to tell you anything you want to hear
Cause that's just who I am this week
Lie in the grass, next to the mausoleum
I'm just a notch in your bedpost
But you're just a line in a song
(A notch in your bedpost, but you're just a line in a song)

Drop a heart, break a name
We're always sleeping in, and sleeping for the wrong team

We're going down, down in an earlier round
And Sugar, we're going down swinging
I'll be your number one with a bullet
A loaded God complex, cock it and pull it

Is this more than you bargained for yet
Oh don't mind me I'm watching you two from the closet
Wishing to be the friction in your jeans
Isn't it messed up how I'm just dying to be him
I'm just a notch in your bedpost
But you're just a line in a song
(Notch in your bedpost, but you're just a line in a song)

Drop a heart, break a name
We're always sleeping in, and sleeping for the wrong team

We're going down, down in an earlier round
And Sugar, we're going down swinging
I'll be your number one with a bullet
A loaded God complex, cock it and pull it

Down, down in an earlier round
And Sugar, we're going down swinging
I'll be your number one with a bullet
A loaded God complex, cock it and pull it

We're going down, down in an earlier round (Take aim at myself)
And Sugar, we're going down swinging (Take back what you said)
I'll be your number one with a bullet (Take aim at myself)
A loaded God complex, cock it and pull it

We're going down, down (down, down)
Down, down (down, down)
We're going down, down (down, down)
A loaded God complex, cock it and pull it

We're going down, down in an earlier round (Take aim at myself)
And Sugar, we're going down swinging (Take back what you said)
I'll be your number one with a bullet (Take aim at myself)
A loaded God complex, cock it and pull it

| im sleeping early *shocked~!*

| post intensive week syndrome

It's almos a week after Intensive Week but rest was far from me. It's been a week of tired-but-fun activities I guess. Okay, so the tired part was all my fault~ Sleeping late is a habit for me you know. ahaks~

Image hosting by Photobucket

wild on the road

So I'm a part of NOC4 band and NOC is a huge production. But after hearing the recording we made, I finally came to one conclusion..

Image hosting by Photobucket

brightest places seems so dark (and scary)

WE SUCK!! BAD!!

Image hosting by Photobucket

going up to your room seems worse

Well, maybe not THAT bad larr but the mistakes are obvious. I bet the rest of my bandmates listenining to the recording would say the same too.

Image hosting by Photobucket

the room is sucking you in

With such conclusion, there can only be one solution..
1) Practice more
2) Pray harder

Image hosting by Photobucket

red ball (Mr Wilson) = your only friend

Okay~ So there are two solutions but both are equally important right?
God help us all. Chaoz peeps~

HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!!
YAAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMMMMM... cha~

| lovely monday, rain is shining - yup.. rain

Image hosting by Photobucket

coffee coffee coffee

Bid farewell to fellow CF'ers and Blessed Chinese New Year. It will be two weeks till I'll see them again. This is a short holiday indeed.

it.. hard~

So after having a goodnight's rest, I woke up today around the afternoon feeling great and refreshed all over! Well.. that's a lie. I woke up feeling so stoned that people would accidentally trip over me. ahaks~ Guess that's the holiday spirit in me making up for the lack of sleep throughout the whole of last week.

cause that's juz who i am this week

Fast-forward till 10 minutes ago. It was like every other night. I was in my room, dad and mom relaxing in theirs and bro.. I'll come back to him. Anyway, I was doing the usual; playing Civilization IV while chatting on Yahoo and MSN with my webcam on (bad mistake~), the night was young and vibrant. Suddenly the silent night was shattered by the sound of glass.. uhh.. shattering.

Image hosting by Photobucket

*CRASH!!*

I rushed out of the room only to find shattered pieces of glass and some kind of gooey red liquid all over the living room. "Is it blood? Why isn't brother moving? What's going on?! Don't die Abby brother!!" panic ensued and the house was in chaos. But in the midst of the chaos..

He looks so innocently cute with that fork in his mouth. What a moron..

| *breathes......* *sigh~*

Intensive Week's over. Well, actually it was over last Saturday and I'm only posting now. It's been one hellofva hectic week but nonetheless, it's fun - on my side at least. Having less than 4 hours of sleep every night since last Sunday was a real killer, screwing up my already screwed up biological clock. It's actually kinda scary. There was a time when my ears were so sensitive to the sound that even the sound of my brother's phone message ringing at his room would wake me up. No kidding. Somehow, those days seemed long gone at my age now. I have trouble getting up to the sound of the alarm and because of that, I've missed a few important devotions. *sigh~* I've tried placing the alarm under my bed, just in case I sub-consciously turn it off and it somehowed worked. So I guess it's just the matter of determination. yay....

the difference between chinese tea and herbal tea?

There were many bumps, ups and downs throughout the whole Intensive Week. Hidden frictions here and there between the many cliques in the CF, some minor while others can lead to huge conspiracies. With that, I'll stop right here on the conspiracy part (they're watching me...) but thankfully, nothing big happened. The only shouting and screaming only came from the directors and of course the main cast i.e. Sean, Cris, and Violet.

But watching from behind the scenes gave me new light and understand to people's.. uh.. understanding. I've watched how people bear with other's nuisance for the sake of friendship and how people reprimand while minimizing the hurt. How people put up mask so that the other will not get hurt. While it's easy call them two-faced or hypocrites, we never did put ourselves in their shoes. How they treasure their relationships with their friends more than their feelings. To put others ahead of me.. now that's a good thing eh?

whooper telling double cheese he sux without hurting his feelings

Another thing I learnt is that God has His ways of showing us the path. Many of you know the saying, "Your word is a lamp unto my feet and the light unto my path," it's easy to grasp but in reality, it's actually quite hard to follow. After all, one may never know how God 'lights our path' but one thing that we do know, is that He does light our path. We only have to see it, that's all. To follow His will and ways is a delight to my soul.

Image hosting by Photobucket

i wish my path was as clear as this

I'm all drained out from the Intensive Week, we all are. But because of that tired weary feeling, the only place we can rest our heads upon are each others shoulders. Remember peeps, we are more than we are, we are one.

| welcome to the freakshow - dctalk

Being part of the NOC4 music team isn't all fun and games. It involves lots of dedication and patience. Not to mention grim hard work and the pure passion to serve. Well, it's actually not that scary larr. I just made it sounds serious for fhunn~

mastering the control of effects and volume..

Before the Intensive Week started, the band wasn't so busy. We would come to practice at least once a week, roughly understand the song and our parts in the song and practice our instruments as often as possible. That's before the Intensive Week started. Right now for this whole week, we'll practice everyday from as early as 3pm to as late as 1.30am. It's true kids, while you're tucked into bed every night, a group of highly specialized personals are undertaking serious work. ahaks~

..while keeping a close eye on the song..

It all started from an interview/audition a few months ago. After undergoing some really vigorous auditioning and lots of mental stress a group of 6 were finally chosen. We were called the Six Saints. Back then we were like babies thrown into the wild and forced to mature in order to survive the cold life of a NOC musician. Okay, so we weren't called Six Saints. I made that up because I thought it sounded cool.

Just in case you've been away from CF for quite some time or you have absolutely no clue as to what I'm talking about, let me introduce the NOC4 band.

| wen wan kofee aint enuff

*sugar we're going down plays on mp3*

First two papers are down, down in an earlier round. Yay~? Well, normally I wouldn't be bothered to write about them but I really really gotta say this. After studying so long and hard for the structure side of Telecommunication System paper, the blardy lecturer gave so little question for structure. Not only that she made the objectives SUPER hard! (note the emphasis on 'SUPER'). What of Malaysian Studies? Who cares about Malaysian Studies?! Hope I'll pass, if not very 'sia sui' mann. ahaks~

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

this shows that one cup ain't enough

Studying never seemed so hectic, especially this semester. The normal me wouldn't be so uptight during exams but this.. this is different. For some reason, it seems I've screwed up my this semester. Yea~ Guess playing games through Bluetooth with my course mates isn't such a good idea after all. ahaks~ I don't like my Telecommunication System lecturer and Business Management lecturer is just a prick and when I say prick, I really mean it. He rushed through the whole thing just so that he can resign early and leave everything behind. Heck, we didn't even know our coursework grades till like.. uh.. yesterday? And Malaysian Studies? You get the picture.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

two cups aint helping much either

Only one paper left.. Can't wait till all this mess is over. *sigh~*

| the promise (no relation to lame movie)

It was a lovely Thursday night. The moon was shining brightly, tall blades of grass swayed in unison as the breeze sang a song for it to dance. I was riding home after a good time at CG, feeling all inspired and pumped-up to study. It felt as if I was riding through an open plain, with the breeze on my back and the moon light on my face. I looked to heaven and smiled. Like a child wanting to impress his Father, I made a promise to God. I promised Him I won't play any of my games till after my exams are over. I was glad.

5 minutes later

I was close to home and I was thinking about what I was gonna do that night. Studying at night won't do me good, surfing the net can get pretty tiring, and worst still, I can't play games.. I can't play games?!! NOOOOOOOO~!!

i'm pathetic.. i know

Honestly, it's quite a challenge for me not to touch those games especially when I just got my hands on Sid Meier's Civilization IV and The Movies. As sucky as it sounds, I'm still able to keep up my promise and thus, resist playing them. While fighting all the temptations I realized how I don't have much to do at night besides playing games. I mean, after blogging and reading other people's blog, I really don't have much to do. *sigh*

Image hosted by Photobucket.com Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Alas, I will survive. I'm a man who (tries) to keep his promise and takes it seriously. I will rise up to the challenge and will beat all odds. I will keep my promise and make Him proud - I hope. Can't wait till it's all over.

Dear Lord, You provide all I need and You're all I need Lord. Help me learn to be grateful for things I have when those dark clouds are over me. Help me to be patient, to endure the hardships that You let me go through. Above all, help me learn to really trust You in everything. I need You. Amen~

| He is my pillar - always and forever

After long period of waiting for my present from Neo Ann Na, sister of Neo Wee Liem, Justin finally passed it to me. This has got to be the best present Ann Na has ever given me, Pillar's latest album, Above. Yup, I'm a Pillar fan ever since I got my hands on their earlier album, Fireproof. I'm not surprised if you guys have never heard of Pillar before. After all, not everyone is a fan of Christian Rock music. I can only summarize their music as this - rap, rock and God.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

pillar's newest album, above

So if you're bored with those typical stereotype rap/rock bands out there *cough*Lim Biskut*cough*, go ahead and grab yourself a Pillar album. Any one will do, it's all good. So far, I've got 3 of their albums, Fireproof, Where Do We Go From Here, and the Christmas gift from Nana, Above. Ann Na, if you're reading this, I know I owe you a movie and an outing, I will fulfill my promise so be patient okay? ahaks~

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

sorry nana and thanx gal

I came home earlier (around 12am), went to my brothers room only to see a shocking scene - bro's new handphone! Being kinda dumb when it comes to mobile phones, all I know is that it's a Samsung phone and it has a 1.3 megapix digicam on it. Compared to my 0.6 megapix phonecam, I'm 700,000 pixels short. That's more than half, just in case you didn't notice. ahaks~ Initially I was kinda curious about this new toy of his but after awhile I got kinda fed up as I dunno how to operate that Samsung phone of his. It's too complex for a simple guy like me. Samsung sux.. bleh~

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

new toy rawks? nahh~

Exams are drawing near indeed. In fact, I have less than a week to study. 2 papers on the 12th and the last one is on the 14th - a beautifully bloody Saturday afternoon. *sigh* I hate taking exams on Saturdays. So to be able to concentrate on my studies, I made a promise to God. Despite having bought Civilization IV yesterday, while I was on the way home after a good time at CG, I promised God I will not touch any of my games till my exams are over. Though the clouds of regret are hovering over me right now, somehow I will survive the temptation - I hope. ahaks~

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

brains... fried... watched... too long...

In fact, to decrease any temptation that will distract me from studying, I finally finish watching the YuYu Hakusho anime that I borrowed last Thursday from Kay Lyn (you rock gal!!). Kay Lyn, anime queen and japanese language sensei was gracious enough to borrow me that anime and finally, after hours and hours of watching, I've finish the entire series. Oh yea, forgot to mention that there's 38 CDs and one CD is more or less an hour. So with no (visible) temptation, I'm able to concentrate fully on studying. Now all I need is some motivation. I remember someone once asked me not too long ago, "Do you motivate me to study?".. do I?

your life is like castle built upon the sand
all the work is done but it will not stand
your life is like a picture without any paint
it's left you feeling blank and a little incomplete
from the answer that you seek
all the questions that you have all lie in Him

He is the way the truth and the life
He's my road to take me home
He is the way the truth and the life
He's my father and my friend

life is overwhelming when you start to doubt
have faith He is with you, here and now
many questions you have asked along your way
like who i am, where i come from, where will i go
when i leave here from this world
i have faith that heaven is within my reach

NEW YEAR!! NEW YEAR!! NEW YEAR!!
NEW YEAR = RESOLUTIONS that people hardly keep

but before that..

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JULIAN!! (proud NOC4 band leader)

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Happy Birthday Julian, there's your present - ahaks~

That's all for the shout-outs. More birthday babies coming soon but for now, Julian, hope you have a smacking good time earlier kay? It's been a rather weird weekend and new year for me. Yea~ Really weird indeed. Much mixed emotions inside so much so, I had lots of trouble trying to figure out which one's which. Think of it as a platter of mixed grill but in all the bunch of grilled meat, you suddenly see Barney's head with a stick through it just like a kebab in the middle of the plate. I feel that way.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

he's pimpin' (a father and daughters picture)

So I just got back yesterday (Monday) afternoon, around 4pm. Shoot straight back to meet my dad before he goes back to work at KLIA. Shoot back to YAC to practice for tomorrow's CF. With the NOC4 band, flew to CCC to practice for, well, NOC4. Went over to Lulu's place to celebrate Julian's 20th birthday and that makes him the oldest of us in our '86 batch. He deserves an AE86 indeed. Yay~ Dorifto! Juz got back not long ago. Talk about a long day huh?

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

sowee for all the nonsense ya? luv ya~

Now, about that new year's resolutions I mentioned earlier. This are my New Year's Resolutions that I hope to be able to uphold.
~ Remember God in everything I do.
~ To have more patience and understanding.
~ To really put others ahead of myself.

God help me indeed.
