| it starts with

*cue music*

One thing I dunno why
Marinating lambs puts the sparkle in my eye
Keep that in mind I copy this rhyme
To fill up my time

all I know

Lamb is a valuable thing
Watch people smile when it starts tingling
Watch it count down when their eyes turn this way
The lamb melts mouth away

it's so unreal

Keep looking down below
Watch awesome epicness starts to grow
Trying to hold on, but when it starts to glow
You wasted it all as you

start to know

Wayne kept everything inside
And even though he tried, it all went so well
What it meant to him will eventually
Be a memory of that time when

We tried so hard and rode so far
In the end the EPIC's all that matters

It's burfday calls and Joel's all

In the end the EPIC's all that matters...

| only God knows why

I haven't had an allergic reaction to anything for quite a long while and if I do get it, it never comes from my mom's cooking. Despite my best efforts, my father objects that I run this mission and therefore somebody else has to take care of the juniors.

owhmigosh~ twins bazel! twins!

Thankfully enough, I enlisted the elitist of seniors to come back me up in taking care of the freshies who are going for their first mission trip ever. After all, some of them came along the last time we went there. Hopefully they'll be fine. God bless them in finding their way to Kampung Jus though. The kids over there are surely gonna have lots of fun thanks to Great Mother Shih Wen.

what's in the ark?

On Monday we officially launch the second aCt production, Another Christmas Thingy: The Given Gift. The head director of the entire event, Ms Grace Teo Ai Ai Ai Ai walked the CF'ers through the entire production, from the department directors, scriptwriters, main casts and the core storyline. She also announced the dates of the infamous Intensive Week (03/11-08/11). Remember kids; no chili and nouuuuu ice~

tujuh ratus tiga puluh ribu lima ratus hari sudah lalu~

Today, is the last CF of the semester and the first CF we ever officially have in our campus! This marks history babeh!! It was surely a different environment and the atmosphere was slightly unusual but nevertheless exciting. Almost everyone was cheerful about it too. Elys lead us through a good worship with only two acoustic guitar backing the music up but personally, I feel that it is sufficient. Would be nice to have a kah-hon though. The bible quiz, handled by Merilyn, Jerome and myself went pretty well. We had excess of questions and most of the fun ones weren't taken but.. owh well~

So with history marked, let us all as CF be united in following God and seeking His will for our CF and our campus. If God be willing to allow us to keep YAC, it be cool. If He doesn't.. well, He gives and takes away, but still my heart will choose to say, "Lord, blessed be Your name~"

Nite guys and God bless~

p.s. if you guys can tell which pic was cropped over the other, you're good~!

| leaving nothing unturned

In the midst of the business (i seem to start every post with that line these days), I managed to free up enough of my schedule to go for Fellowship of Evangelical Students or FES's WORDilicious Investigators: Jonah. But before that..

BLESSED BURFDAY SHIH WEN~!!

On the afternoon of Friday, I made my way to the ever bustling city of KL to grab some timeout. There were around 15 people from MMUcf who were going for the event with their buses leaving at 7.30pm but a certain two people decided to leave earlier at 1pm in hopes to be able to find Some Good Food®.

SAY YAY TO ISA!! malaysia is a wonderful place.. bn roxxxors..

Upon arrival at Pudu Station at 3pm, AGI (anonymous girl i) and I had one goal in mind; to either look out for some real good Subway or anything that is considered, by my standards of course, Some Good Food®. Therefore we started our search for the elusive Subway, going from mall to mall and eventually reaching Pavilion at around 4.30pm. Now you see, at Pavilion we have three great choices of food here, Carl's Jr (smill styne.. smile my baby boo), Tony Roma or TGI Friday's. After talking to Kee Weng and how he states that Tony Roma's steak are awesome, I decided to go for TGI Fridays. Why? Because if I ever wanted to eat steak or lamb chops of that sort, I'll wait for my dad's day off where he'll cook Some Good Food®

So ladies and gentlemen, I present you TGI Friday's
(salmon and nachos recommended by elaine, the rich girl)

chocolate chip milkshake & naked lemonade

nachos fijita thingy

Jack Daniels Salmon (WINNER OF SOME GOOD FOOD®!!!)

cheese chicken thingy.. chicken was dry but cheese was gooooood~

After a good hearty, lincher (lunch + dinner) we headed down to the foodcourt to chillax and lo and behold.. we found Subway..

dammit!

Later at 7pm we met up with Jui Shan, Bryan, David and Lian Chui. At 7.30pm the rest of the MMUcf'ers arrived and we headed for our temporary bunk for the night, FES office 'the Oasis' right opposite Taylor's College.

preparing to triple z

Next morning we arose rather early and got our coffee fix from the ever bland McD coffee. It sucks but it'll have to do for now or at least till I get home and get my fix of real coffee. Our chartered bus arrived at 7.30am and ferried us and a few other students from the local uni to PJ Gospel Hall (the kind folks who allowed us to use their church). From here, I'll let the pics do the talking.

good to see cyber seniors around

That's all for now I guess. Back to life's heavy shoulders.

Now, for the more pressing/interesting news..

       This is a year of many things; the beginning of journey to some, the end to others. For many of the final year students, their time in Multimedia University is drawing near as the curtain closes. But yet, just before they take their last bow, they're treated.. we, are treated to a somewhat dream coming true;

MMUcf is officially recognized in campus!

Our ancient seniors pestered the campus officials to allow of us to run as an official society but the rule states that no religious society can be formed. This year, it's all changed. To make things even better, we, MMUcf are not alone. Together alongside with the Chinese cf, MyCF, and the Catholic students society, CSS, we are now an official body known as Multimedia University Christian Society.

the closing prayer

Today marks history as we had our first Annual General Meeting whereby the three groups come together in unity as one body of our Lord. Sure, as being recognized and being an official society shuts some doors it also opens up new unexplored ones as we're now in the heart of our mission ground. These are truly exciting times indeed.

the exco members - the top six

Wish all you ancient seniors were around. For now, we must face the challenges ahead like taking a bulls by the horn and..

soar~~

Nite peeps and God bless ya'll~
