| one man..

two thoughts..

three calls..

four gals..

..

I love my CG.

Almost had a mild crisis on Thursday. Initially 5 members coming. Good. The problem though, is that the ones who drive can't come. In other words, I'm grounded. But- jeng jeng jeng (haven't used that in ages) thankfully, Riro came to the rescue offering to drive her bf's car while he's resting after undergoing minor surgery.

be-be-be-beeeeef~

The above picture marks the two thousandeth picture in my suredieone photobucket account (figure not inclusive of the wontdieone account). Thank you.

So yea! Got transport! Then, suddenly, Jan Sen said he can't make it due to some last minute stuff, leaving me, one man, with four of my beautiful members. Yeap, that's right, one *koff* man, and 3 gals; Riro, Kay L, Ana-chan, and Elbert. The 5 of us went to makan Some Good Food® at Loi's Beef Bak Kut Teh (available only at selected stores nationwide). Next, we went to JJ to eat some ice cream and go walk, walk. heh~

.. women.. *rolls eyes*

heh~

It was fun hanging out with em and catching up with em and stuff. Ice cream was good too, though it was only from Mc D's - can't expect much can ya? Still, it was a good time of fellowshipping and fellowshopping. hahah~

who says one can't just ROCK into Mordor?

We were somewhat talking about relationships and stuff during makan time(Riro brought it up). Had a little discussion on the different ideas of the vastness that is BGR and I shed some light on a one little noticed fact;
a) all men are jerks
b) all women are troublesome
c) because all men are jerks, all women are troublesome
likewise, because all women are troublesome, all men are jerks

deep eh?

picture not related.. ahaks~

Nite peeps~ Stay unique. bluek~

| these funny little feeling

It's already Thursday.. and somehow, I'm still breathing. Feeling kinda weird now though. It's a feeling that makes you wanna emo and all..

must be the haircut that's causing this.. heh~

Got soooo many August babies, one after another, popping out like pimples on the face except there's no pimple but it's still squishy nonetheless. ... rriiight~ Moving on now.

suddenly.... balloons! everywhere!

Photobucket's refusing to cooperate with me. Can't even seem to load the webpage itself. bleh~ Inferior broadband dominated by one company with only one thing in mind - and it ain't us, the customers.

Anyway, weird thing happened today (or yesterday, depending on how you read this blog). Celebrated mom's birthday today, 15th August in our good ol' Tai Pan Seafood restaurant, a friend on ours. Now she's a proud xx year old lady with a heart of cold iron gold. I phailed to take pictures of the whole event. Definitely wasn't myself. hahaha~ Oh well. Life just goes on.

HAPPY BURFDAY MOMS!!

nite peeps.. life just goes on.

| left unspoken

Once again, a full week of no blogging. Now it's time to flood cyberspace with pictures that may or may not be relevant to the post - relevancy of post is subjected to change from time to time.

irrelevant pic but nice nonetheless

So on early Monday morning, while many have left to their hometown, a group of 5 people embarked on an epic journey of self-discovery, and.. well, epic stuff. We were headed to Youth Pastor School 2007.

the tight, mean streets of Cheras

First stop was lunch at Cheras after picking Jingles up from the ideal pick-up point that is Mc D's in Petronas. Jingles wanted to take us to some awesome yong tau foo but it was closed, so we settled for the nearby char siew fan and I must say this - nothing beats Malacca's Pork Rice, baby! Next stop; Awana, Genting Highlands.

The five of us, Ps Joanne, Julian, Joel, Jingles and Jai were the first to reach there. We got to pick which room we'd be staying in and so we settle for the 2nd highest floor, number 15. It's a comfortable double queen-sized bedroom and before you could say my-goodness-im-hot, Julian established that he'll sleep with Joel.. Okay, maybe I've put it rather wrongly but you get the idea.

the Js!! Jandrew, Joel, Jingles, Julian

Okay, to cover everything with mere words will be difficult, so why don't I do the lazy posting method of flooding pics and a summary at the end? Good idea? Great success!

Q&A with them cool pastors

Ps Jo and Ps Lis

Ps Victor wong and Joel doing something to jingles...

the great joel impersonation

the great view from the cable car!!

you have my bow.. and my ipod

consistency isn't always a good thing

same food day in, day out

jo dowain hais thaing

ju is jamaicaning sleeping

and this is the great commissioning

Okay, now for the summary. Erm~ Lets see, food was good initially (roasted lamb is good stuff) but after eating the same food over and over and over.. and over.. again, it becomes rather.. nauseating.

I was asked to worship lead on the Tuesday morning but thankfully, I had Ju and Jo to back me up; Jingles did the dance thingie. The bed was your a-typical super thick and comfy hotel styled bed and the sleep is good (despite how little sleep we had). Went up to Genting Highlands on Wednesday to play around and fellowship with the other peeps.

Now to the important stuff, the essence, the training, the mojo, the uh, good.. stuff. Our speaker was Rev Victor Wong and I must admit, I've seen many preachers, motivators, teachers, trainers but this guy topped my list and easily earned my respect as being a great man. His passion for the people, knowledge of the words, and love for God is something to be truly admired and looked up to.

The theme is MORE than NOW.
M – mentoring
O – organisation
R – relationships
E – events

N – networking
O – outreach
W – wait, witness, warfare, watch

Youth Pastor School '07 : MORE than NOW

Under the cool theme lies a deep, enriching study of the Word, an exercise of the mind to think, respond, communicate, and to envision. It challenged me, personally, to balance my priorities and to truly live my life to the fullest potential of serving Him.

now i have a watch and a key chain to remind me

I can safely say I've mixed around with almost all of the groups of people who attended YPS07, all with interesting backgrounds and testimonies, different environment and lifestyle but of all of them whom I could post their picture, I'm just gonna share with you somebody whom really surprised us all (except Jingles).

everybody, say hi to Connie

This here is related to somebody in CF, an old graduated senior whom I think only my batch was the last to get to know him. Memory thingling yet? No? Well, her surname's Ng. Ring a bell yet? Yeap, you got it folks, this here is Samuel Ng's sister. She's cute ain't she? Oh wait, I've forgot to mentioned this earlier. She is Samuel Ng's OLDER sister. Looks are darn deceiving indeed.

everybody says, 'BURNIN'

So thanks to all those who attended YPS07 and to Youth Alive Malaysia who organized such a blessing to us all. I'm gonna save up cash to attend the next one to meet them chicks to meet God and learned from His servants again.

lookin fine and spankin.. baby~

Came back on Thursday evening only to get myself ready for a photo shoot of our family. I didn't know shooting a family portrait could rack up to RM700. Talk about E to the double G.

~blanked out event~

So yea, I've got my wish to spend my 21st birthday quietly but unfortunately, not alone. Not that I don't appreciate the company, it's just that I'd rather be left alone on that day. Thanks for the cake, it was my first birthday cake ever in my life and you made it ever more beautiful.

the cake

the dinner

Spent a night over at my uncle's place in a place called Mantin. It's an ulu place so I myself have no idea where it really is. My uncle manages a chicken farm.. a big chicken farm and it so happens that that night, a shipment of new 1 day old chicks arrived. We saddled up our horses and follow him to the farm.

cute chick now, deep fried chicken later

Came back and slept late, woke up early at 5.30am for brother's convo as my parents had to reach there before 7.30am. I chilled at a friends condo in Cyberia. It rained, heavily. Went back home, went out again to attend to some eventful business.

happy graduating dude

Went to practice for this Tuesday's CF and finally, here I am. A whole 7 days of my holiday laid out before you all to read, scorn, laugh, and cry..

it’s hard to force that smile when I see our old friends and im alone

Good nite peeps~

| fast-food-ing

Fulfilling the now-common practice of posting random, non-related pictures while trying to pass of famous quote from Futurama

Good news everyone!

Happy XXth Birthday Jason Leong!!

It may be a period of fasting for many of us, but that doesn't stop us from having Some Good Food® - it doesn't stop my family, that is. It was after a fruitful day of running errands with dad when at the end of it, we realize that it's gonna be just the two of us alone at home tonight. Since it was just the two of us, might as well go American and by saying American, I mean deep fried Frikin (fried chicken) goodness (with garlic bread).

making some garlic goodness

gotta love the lifestyle

crunchy cheaper-than-pizza-hut goodness

my satay fish fix that is so rare in bukit beruang

Got a call from Soly in the middle of the night telling me that he'll be busy taking care of the P.A. system and I have to take care of the kids youths. Thankfully, I don't have to prepare any bible study materials or think of games as they were gonna watch Evan Almighty, DVD 9 - quality baik punya. Rascals.

i *heart* new visor

jason l's dream of pro-tennis

Super Senior, Sam Yau visited us and came to CCC on Sunday. It was good to see him doing just fine. I think the last, last time I met him was in November, last year when Hillsong's United came down to K.L. Yeap, long time ago. Bet most of the Alphas and now-Betas don't know him and to summarize his character is quite a challenge but if there's one word that would give the first impression, would be.... bubbly. He belanja'ed the few of us whom remained in Malacca and Pastor Joanne lunch at East Garden. Slightly ex but food's good, dig this - Wantan Cheese!!

RM5.50 Chicken Chop w Rice - 8/10 on the taste/value ratio

RM5-6? Cold Crepe - 7/10

RM5 Cheese Wantan - 10/10 (anything with cheese scores 10)

Thanks Sam, for the treat. It's good to see ya again and it's good to see you're doing great. Do come for our Christmas thingie this December ya? hehe~ Oh well, gotta hit the bed now else I'll miss the boat to Youth Pastor School.

all packed and ready to go

I'll be back on the 9th with (hopefully) loads of pictures of Julian, Joel and Jingles in phuunney poses. Colgate Action Time.

heh~

Nites peeps and have a blessed holiday.

| C-G-C-FOOD?

Java programming lab test at 10am?
Bleh~ No worries.

the paradoxical heritage

It's midterm week and midterm week means lesser-er people coming for CG, this is especially true for the Catalyst CG that currently has the biggest number of members. Hahahahahaha~ Sorry, can't keep that in. Total attendance for Thursday's CG amounts to an astonishing 4 members(!) - excluding me(!!). Initially wanted to go to Ayer Keroh's Mc D to do our bible study but I figured that it's still early in the month, lets not blow away the cash. Alas, we headed to Heritage as alpha Elbert has never eaten there before.

kelvin came after I took this pic.. poor guy~

The next day, during prayer meeting Elbert told me that she had a tummy-ache after dinner, probably caused by Heritage's food. Kay. This is the divider of opinion towards heritage; a bunch of people are fine with Heritage's food while another bunch seems to suffer from tummy-ache after eating their food.. probably due to the weaker genes. heh~ Elbert's an exception to that statement, of course.

RM8.80 for 3!! (only at Guardian) *cue theme-song*

Went to Umbai's Ikan Bakar for dinner. Due to my age and failing vision, I sorta gave the wrong direction and almost traveled towards that-which-shan't-be-named but after summoning the great spirits we finally found it.

GerX's bro, GerX, Vayne, Rehhnee, and I

Despite the long drive, it was good company that kept the spirit up. Actually, it was all Vayne dowain hais thaing, forest forest gump and all.

predicted: RM100+- actual: RM60.. sweet~

Anyway, yea, so we reached and ate. Food was so, so only. Guess when there are only a few customers around, they wouldn't really put much effort into keeping up with their fame. Such disease.

such a fitting name for a police station

On the way home, as we were talking about random stuff, something of my interest caught my ears.

People don't know the real me.

That's a rather funny statement don't ya think so? How one portrays oneself to others; their speech, their character, their intention. One can only go so far being 'fake'. Lies and deceit lasts for only a moment while the truth remains for eternity. With that in mind, I guess it's hard to be 'fake' for only so long. Thus, 'real you' isn't really the 'real you' but rather 'a different part of you' as a whole.

People don't know the real me.
People only know a part of me that I reveal to them.

---- think about it~

To my arguing john/jane doe, anonymous, etc. Now, now, lets play nice okay?

Nite peeps~ Looking forward to read all the chapters of your book. :)
